This was by far the best activity my family and I have ever experienced. It exceeded our expectations. Our guides name was Summer and she was nice, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. She kept us safe, pushed us to climb higher and made our half day adventure awesome. Be prepared for a short hike and really using your legs. This climbing... More

I climb regularly at a gym, but have never gone climbing outdoors. I signed up for a 4 hour trip, and my guide, Mark, took me out to a great, classic climbing area in the park. He picked out routes that were a perfect choice of challenge and skill building, while being easy-going, professional and a great guide. I had... More

This was my first rock climbing experience, as it was for the rest of our party of six too. We all had a positive and personally challenging experience. The guides talked us through anything that felt a little challenging, and we got to experience belaying and climbing. The belaying was a very empowering feeling. To support your friend who is... We signed up for a family climb our two kids, aged 5 and 8. We had no experience and weren't sure what to expect. It was such a thrill...much more exciting, challenging, and fun than we anticipated. Our guide, Henry was amazing! If it weren't for his confidence, encouragement, and obvious skill, we would have chickened out right at the... More

Nice little shop with just the right essentials. Didn't go climbing but we did hesitate a lot. One of our kids is 3 so we thought next year would probably be a little better. Again great shop (everything was on sale), great staff.

Our family did a half day climb. Our guide Mark was great. We have a 8 year old who was terrified at first but Mark was very patient with him. By the end of the day he was climbing to the top. We climbed along the ocean cliffs. Great experience. Highly recommend.

I am a true beginner and went with my wife and 53 year old mother in law. Our guide tailored the climb so it was challenging for each one of us on our own. He set up separate paths for me to use so that we could vary our climb and each get the most from the experience. He made... More

My 8yo and I wandered into the Acadia Mountain Guide store just to browse. 10-minutes after speaking with Mark Warner about how awesome it is to climb the cliffs at Otter Point we were signed up with him to climb the next morning. This was, by far and wide, the greatest experience of our entire week in MDI! We met... More

Mark is the best! We went with our two kids - aged 5 and 7 - and me/my wife, and had a total blast! We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Alex our guide, was very thoughtful, professional, safety conscious and make sure we did all we could. Would definitely recommend if you'd like to challenge yourself and see a beautiful... More
