Our experienced guide Mark made for a very exciting morning. That was my first time climbing with my boyfriend, and being afraid of heights I was a bit nervous, but Marks' knowledge and sense of humor made me comfortable to overcome my fear and climb. We had a lot of fun climbing the different cliffs Mark brought us to. We... More

Everyone that works there is very personable. My guide, Chris did a very good job in prepping me for what was in store and I ended up having a wonderful experience. Chris was very knowledgable out in the field and was able to give me advice on where to put me my feet and hands. He was also very encouraging... More

Without question our family's experience was incredible...we were first-timers with family members that had wide-ranging abilities and comfort levels. Our guide, Andrew, was highly-skilled, patient and encouraging...he is an Eagle Scout with exceptional organization, focus and ability to assess our needs. We never felt in danger. We left with incredible memories and hopes to return.

We are first time climbers (except for our eldest child-19). Our experienced guides, Alex and Zach, gave us confidence with their diligence regarding "safety first" and inspired us to climb to great heights (literally). They provided us with excellent instruction. The views while attached to a rope high above Jordan Pond were unbeatable! Thanks again!

We had a great afternoon climbing with our guide Trevor. He was very accommodating since we had a 2 year old and a 9 year old. It was an experience my 9 year Sara will not forget. Thanks!

Although there's no question that my kids would have enjoyed rock climbing more on a clear day, our guide Alex made sure that we had a great time and kept us safe while doing it.

Glad you had a great time and we appreciate your review. Sometimes I wish there was a weather knob we could for sunshine, snow, etc as needed but in the end I would rather leave it up to nature. The questions "do you climb in the rain?" or "what happens if it rains?" are common. For us, the ultimate decision... More

I recently found myself in Bar Harbor without a climbing partner. I didn't want to miss out on the opportunity to try out a new climbing location, so I decided to hire a guide. I'm a long-time climber, but sadly out of shape. I booked AMG for a 1/2 day session on a Saturday morning. My only request was that... More

My wife and I wanted to do something memorable for our 25th anniversary so we decided to go rock climbing. Alex was an excellent guide and helped make our adventure memorable. My wife said "He didn't make me feel stupid, even when he had to show me how to tie the knot again (and again!!)." We both appreciated how he... More

Three girlfriends and I were trying our hand at outdoor rock climbing for the first time and we all had an absolute blast climbing T&A mountain (otherwise known as Bubble Rock). Our guide Mark was an absolute champ and I give him major props for being to able to deal with our sass and endless silly questions. He was very... More

Thank you for your review and sharing your experience. At this time of year bug repellent is a good idea especially at the more inland cliffs. The sea cliffs are usually pretty free of stinging friends. If folks don't have repellent, the guides(s) should as with sunscreen too. We have always taken great pride in mentoring instructors and guides. All... More
