This path follows the shore and passes by some beautiful homes and hotels. There are markers along the path that give information about the various places. There are benches to sit on. This is a relaxing walk to go on at any time of the day.

This is a pleasant, easy, walk along the shore in Bar Harbor. It starts near the Bar Harbor Inn and travels behind some beautiful homes. There are marked paths where you can leave the shore path and walk to the main street of town or you can return on the same path. Worth taking the time to do it.

This path is behind our room at the bar harbor inn, right along the ocean. We see people walking and running all the time. Very nice, flat trail.

The path is a mile long and with plenty of width for a couple to walk hand in hand or a family stroll. Wheelchairs or strollers are welcomed. Beautiful scenery and plenty photo opportunities.

This was a lovely walk - simple and easy. We did in early evening. Didn't want to do too much because a bigger hike coming up. This is perfect for anyone. Can turn around at any point if don't want to do whole path. But it is short anyways.

Beautiful! Go early in the morning when there is hardly anyone out. Our kids (and us) loved rock hopping around the harbor.

Very nice easy walk with a beautiful view of the ocean. Great place to get a peek at how the "other half" lives as it borders many beautiful estates.

Good family adventure but keep your kids close because come of the ledges are unguarded. It is short and enjoyable.

This was beautiful walk and just as important it was doable for my elderly mother. We took in the sunset while walking along the gravel path that takes you into town. This is definitely a worth while experience.

The shore path itself is a lovely place to stroll, offering beautiful views of the water. But what made us really love this spot is a little sandy/rocky beach area below the path, where we found crabs, snails, hermit crabs, etc. Luckily, we were staying nearby because my 6-yr-old asked to go here every day!
