I did this tour with my grandma and my parents in July. We all liked it. It was not that hard to paddle. We stopped a lot to take breaks next to islands or on beaches. We saw lots of animals including dolphins swimming next to our boat and an eagle nest the size of a Volkswagen bug car! We... More

A twist on the standard kayak tour, we ventured out with a sunset group. There were about 8 of us (plus the guide), so a decent size group, but not so big that you felt limited or rushed with the experience. After a 20min van ride and a brief tutorial we launched our fleet and headed up the coast. The... More

We chose this outfit because they take you to the less trafficked side of the island (essentially it is the southwestern end) and it is definitely worth the 20 minute ride in the van. There's plenty of paddling time even with a break. The guide was great (perfect balance of scruffy legitimacy and polite well informed expert paddler) and the... More

Displaced Acadia hikers (Congress you suck) trying kayaking for the first time and we loved it! Guide (Mark) was very thorough, knowledgeable, and patient. Will definitely check out kayaking options in future vacations.

Fantastic guide was very personable with everyone, friendly and very informative. Saw seal, porpoise, birds and great weather. Loved that we went out on the "quite side" of the island.

We did the 4 hour trip starting at 1pm. This was a good time to do the trip because it allowed time for the fog to clear and the temperature to warm up. They supplied all equipment. Our guide was Mark who showed us wonderful landscapes, bays and wildlife. The highlight of the trip was seeing Harbor and gray seals... More

We signed up for a 4 hour morning kayaking tour on September 12. We had a really nice guide. Enjoyed the trip but I was disappointed because we didn't stop paddling long enough to really view the seals, etc and take pictures.

My fiance and I went out one foggy morning with Corky and a few other couples to kayak the west side of Acadia. The water was beautiful, and the weather cleared up nicely. We saw seals, birds, and gorgeous landscapes on our 6 mile trip. Corky was great- he knew a lot about the area and the ecology, and he... More

I chose this company after reading the previous reviews on Trip Advisor. My husband and I are flatwater kayakers so we wanted to experience ocean kayaking with a tour. When I booked our sunset trip by phone, I was given all the information I needed to know, especially how to prepare for the trip (what to bring and not to... More

Our guide (Jake) made the trip. 3+ hours on the water is a long time and Jake made it fly by. He knew a lot about the area and the wildlife.
