I will be honest... I was skeptical at first... Especially since I was in Acadia specifically to photograph the foliage... Man was I wrong to doubt the other reviews!!! This could not have been a more enjoyable AND educational experience. Captain John was both entertaining and extremely knowledgeable!! I learned many things that I did not know about Maine, Bar... Loved this!!! Captain John is very knowledgable and a great speaker. Extremely engaging - good with kids and adults. We learned a lot of interesting things and saw lobster, harbor seals, a bald eagle and a live sand dollar which was an extra bonus. It was cold on the water, but we were prepared thanks to the detailed and helpful... More

We took the Whale Watching Tour which was great for seeing whales but we couldn't hear anything the guide was saying and the seals were pretty far away from the boat. On Lulu's lobster boat, we got a phenomenal educational experience and in addition to seeing lobsters got a great view of the seals which hang out around the Lighthouse.... More

This tour was extremely educational. I really enjoyed learning so much about the lobster industry. While it was pretty cold out on the water, the tour, guide, and learnings made it all with it. It gave me such an appreciation for this Maine staple. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to learn about one of Maine's most important...and... More

We took this tour while on a cruise ship stop and thought it might be pricey. It was worth every penny and then some. The captain is so knowledgeable and interesting. They even provide wrist bands for those who might get seasick (you won't) and binoculars for those who forgot there's. Didn't realize lobsters could be so much fun.

Enjoyed this excursion off of our recent cruise. Even with the added cost of booking this via the cruise line, both my husband and I thought that we got great value for our dollar. Captain John and his team were top notch. Captain John entertained us with his stories and experiences and educated us at the same time about lobsters... More

We were in bar harbor on a cruise stop. The highlight of our 10day cruise was this tour. The owner was incredibly knowledgeable and kept guests of all ages entertained and engaged. He did a wonderful job keeping both the kids and the senior citizens engaged. I now know a lot more about Maine lobsters. Highly recommend.

We took the 10am tour after low tide was at 6:30am. We first rode out to Egg Rock Island Lighthouse to view the harbor seals bobbing in the ocean! There were many and I got good pictures with my zoom lens. We also saw 3 bald eagles and ducks. If you can, take the tour closest to low tide as... More
