Found this while looking on tripadvisor and so glad I did. This was one of the highlights of our visit. Captain John is so knowledgable and shows he enjoys what he is doing. The entire trip from the moment you leave until you return is fun for all and lots to see--birds, seals, lighthouse, and of course lobster. They were... More

I was hesitant, 2 hours on a small boat.... but it was AWESOME! they keep you occupied the whole time, very fun. And they provide wrist bands if you are afraid of getting sick. there were some giant swells that would or normally gotten me sick. but I was having a blast the entire time. We saw Seals, Bald Eagles,... More

Captain John does an excellent job of teaching you about Lobsters, and the life of a Lobsterman. The boat is comfortable , Captain and Crew are very accommodating. The crews included much information about Seals, Lighthouses, the Business of Lobsters as well as their biology and also the Conservation for the creatures as well as nature . I appreciated his... Captain John is a great host. He clearly loves lobsters and the lobster industry in Maine. The industry could not find a better spokesman. During our two hour tour, we learned a lot, laughed a bit, saw seals, eagles and lobsters, while enjoying a beautiful view of Bar Harbor from the water. A wonderful activity for a beautiful day.

This was a great tour that I read about here on TA. I'm glad to report that the positive reviews were accurate, The tour is really informative and everything is done to make you happy and comfortable. The use of binoculars to see the seals and the availability of blankets in case you forget to bring along an extra layer... More

Have been on a few scenic boat tours but this was the real deal. The Captain explained that Maine's lobster population is thriving because of its self policing. You learn how a lobster trap works and why it is constructed the way it is today compared to the past. I now know how to tell a male lobster from a... More

Do you know how to tell a male lobster from a female? Do you know why Maine's lobster population is thriving? Do you know how a lobster trap works? Lulu's lobster boat is a very fun and informative trip. They give out seasickness bands and almost no one ever gets sick. First, you will journey to the lighthouse. We were... More

Capt. John was fantastic! Would do again in a heartbeat! He's got a great sense of humor and was educational. Loved every minute. We don't stay stationary long, but this tour was fantastic. We saw seals, harbor porpoise, and an eagle, plus the lobsters. Totally loved it. Oh, and be sure to get there 30 mins before tour starts to... More
