Nice, but too crowded!

Maybe our expectations were too high. We were so excited about this trip. If the staff offers to rebook you on a different cruise before your cruise leaves because of fog, take them up on it. We are from Florida and have all spent time on boats, but 5 of our 7 were seasick for the first time. We saw... More

When we left dock it was mid 80 degrees...sunny, slight breeze. When we got out from shore the temps steadily dropped! If you go in mid summer bring heavy polar fleece or light down coats and hats...you will still be chilly but comfortable enough! Crazy but true! The staff was very knowledgable and took extra time to answer questions about... More

The staff were very informative & knowledgable. My only downfall is that the boat can hold a LOT of people, at least 500 - 600, & although there is plenty of seating for all these people, once there is something to see, everyone crowds around the outside edge. If you end up with a bunch of rude, high school students... More

Great trip. We saw 7 humpbacks and were surrounded by white sided dolphins that came right up to the boat. The naturalist was fantastic with lots of great facts. It was a trip to remember

We saw and followed a pod of humpback whales. This was great to encounter and photograph. I would have rated this excellent but the captain favored the right side of the boat everytime. It was not until we confronted hime that he would alternate sides, but even then he would bring the boat in close on the right side and... More

Never been whale watching before and like the fact that with this company if whales are not seen, your ticket is good for a repeat trip anytime within the next 3 years. Well, we had to take them up on that offer...our 1st trip had no whale sightings. So we rescheduled for the following afternoon and so glad we did!!!... More

We started out on a foggy day and we were worried we may not see any whales. We got to see 3 whales! 2 Humpback and the endangered Right Whale. I will say it was difficult to snap photos but after a while, I gave up and have the lasting memory of what we saw.

Never been whale watching before and decided to try this company. I like the fact that if whales are not seen, you ticket is good for a repeat trip anytime within the next 3 years. These people are very in tune with the weather. If they anticipate rough seas they let people prone to sea sickness, reschedule or refund. Each... More

So glad we did this! The weather was a little misty but we saw 5 different humbacks! The crew was able to identify them based on tail markings. The whales were so close to the boat and put on quite a show flipping their tails and diving. We also saw a lot of super cute, playful seals that were very... More

Despite the fact that I am extremely prone to motion sickness, my husband and I booked the puffin and whale watch tour with the hope of seeing sea birds. I came well prepared- scopolamine patch, sea bands, motion-ease herbal drops, and several days of taking ginger pills in advance. Waves were about 2 ft swells with heavy fog. I luckily... More
