My wife and I went on this boat at the end of July and had a good time. The boat can get pretty crowded and so we ended up on the top deck, which can get absolutely freezing when the ship is going at high speeds. Fortunately the boat is large enough so that we never feel cramped. There was... More

We did the nature cruise with our teenagers - everyone had a great time. Saw plenty of harbor seals and a few bald eagles. Close-up views of the Egg Rock lighthouse and seeing Acadia from out on the water were worth the trip. The naturalist was knowledgeable and did well presenting the highlights on the trip - also (since it... More

As a wheelchair user I always call ahead to verify accessibility. Those in wheelchairs should be aware, that despite renovations, Bar Harbor Whale Watch Company does not provide seating space for wheelchairs (think how movie theaters have seating) or shuttle buses with seats that can be raised to accommodate a wheelchair (ex. Ba Harbor Island explorer buses.) Ship staff seems... More

I have been on many boat tours. after going on the lobster seal tour, I was very impressed. The naturalist explained everything so clearly and was there to answer every question, The Captain, Andrew was both Professional, and personal. The children Just love him! He had a great personality, and kept us all laughing. Being a smaller vessel, there was... More

This was great!. It made the whole weekend for us. The young lady explaining lobsters and sea life was great. She was fun energetic and friendly. She did a great job to control the disrespectful peole who kept standing. The captain was great and took time with his quests. It let people drive the boat and everyone took pictures. Highly... More

We went on the Grand Slam Lighthouse tour on July 26. It was awesome. We saw 15 lighthouses and even got to see Matinicus Rocks Light, which is rarely seen because ocean conditions have to be right for it. It was well-done; the speakers on board knew the lighthouses extremely well and knew the wildlife. Got excellent photos. This was... More

We took their Nature Cruise, and it was a really nice, pleasant, informative trip. Our young naturalist was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and "not from rote" We liked seeing the island from the water, and from a different area. I would recommend this for all ages. TREK999 is correct though, you couldn't stand outside on the lower deck and still hear her.... More

My wife and I did the Baker Island Tour and we had a fabulous time. The Park Ranger was awesome. The crew was very professional, safe, and didn't waste any time getting us out to the island.

We took the nature cruise, Nice scenery, but that's no big deal it's in Maine. The sound system is very poor. If you want to hear the naturalist, which I did, you have to be very close. I tried that but at that location my view was hampered by a plastic sheet. I chose, reluctantly, to see the view over... More

I won a nature/sunset cruise on a radio station, but I would still pay to take this cruise again!! It was so amazing to see Sand Beach, Thunder Hole and Egg Rock from the ocean!! We saw a deer, two bald eagles, tons of seals, including a rare gray seal. There were four naturalists on board that gave us excellent... More
