We took the Nature and Sightseeing Cruise and had a great time. It was narrated the whole time with information about the landscape, wildlife, history and the people of the area. They kept it light, fun and very interesting. We got to see seals, bald eagles, hawks and lots of different birds. I just wish we knew what side to... More

My 4 year old son and I took a Lobster and Seal cruise with Bar Harbor this summer. The short cruise is perfect for young children and well priced for young families. Our naturalist Karlee was fantastic at connecting with people in general and kids in particular. Her presentation transmitted her enthusiasm for the animals she was showing us. Capt.... More

This was an excellent excursion and well worth the money. Glauco, the narrator, was informative and very pleasant to listen to as he pointed out eagles, seals, interesting geology. He also described the beautiful coastal mansions, including fascinating histories of the inhabitants, and added narration about how Acadia National Park came to be. We did find the lengthy promotional announcements... More

My family took this tour in 2013 and enjoyed it so much we did it again when we returned to Bar Harbor in 2014. The seas were rough the first time, with sea sickness all around, but round two was much smoother sailing. We saw whales, poirpose, seals, and had an all around wonderful time.

Just wonderful trip, saw 8 fin back whales, seals, blue fin tuna, a tuna boat, porpoises, numerous sea birds, and a Basking Shark! So cool! But please, please- listen to those who tell you to take Dramamine before you go- it is a very choppy ride out! And dress warm! It was July and it was COLD! We were prepared... More

I'll start with a disclaimer: I've been on a number of whale watching trips, and this was the first time I saw whales leaping out of the water. Obviously, the company and crew have no control over nature, but even without that, I'd recommend the trip. The boat was clean, the crew was knowledgeable. The company works with researchers, and... We went whale watching last week in the morning and we were fortunate enough to see multiple humpback whales. The first two whales were very close to the boat, where I got good pictures with my 4x zoom point and shoot. Then when we were supposed to turn back, we instead stayed out a little longer to see a whale... More

Aug 23, 2014 was a beautiful day to go out nearly 25 miles off shore in search of whales. Felt so happy to see a young humpback! We enjoyed a little show as this magnificent animal broke the surface a number of times and finally gave us a look at its massive tail. Thrilling and well worth the time and... More

Had an almost perfect day weather-wise for the trip. Calm, sunny and warm. The crew were very nice and Dillon, our giud was both friendly and knowlegeable. I enjoyed the trip, three hours in length. There was ample photo opportunities as they moved the boat around so both sides faced the shore for the passengers to get the best views.... More

I only have two complaints. They do not have a senior discount and they charged $9 for my 5 month old granddaughter to go with her parents. Did they think they were going to find a babysitter for her. Really!!!!!!!!!!!
