We went on an evening trip in August having spoken to the guys at the ticket desk and asked their advice - mornings and afternoons were having no luck but the evening trips were doing ok. So we set out on a sunny evening. Take their advice - it does get very cold out on the water, so take layers.... More

We signed up for the Whale Watching trip in Bar Harbor for my wife's 65th b/d in early October. The weather was overcast and windy and I was in two minds whether we should go or not, given the $121 it would cost for it. In the end, the idea that we would 'probably' see whales (by the the ticket... More

We only had a day in Bar Harbour, coming off a cruise ship, and this was a wonderful way to see the coastline and several offshore lighthouses. Great photo ops of the "cottages" in the area, Acadia Park plus the stars of the show: the lighthouses themselves. Very informative live commentary as well. You can book it from the cruise... More

This area is home to some of the most magnificent creatures, visiting the national park is only half of the experience so don't miss out on this tour. The crew was friendly and knowledgeable; we experienced some fog during the first leg of the trip but through their narration, I learned a lot about the local history and ecology. My... More

We took the whale tour on October 12th. We were lucky in that it was a clear sunny day in October, mid to high fifties on land. We wore winter coats and hats. I brought hand warmers, toe warmers and a neck gator and was very glad I did. Even with the sunshine, it was very cold and windy up... More

We took the Nature Cruise and enjoyed every minute! The guide was very knowledgeable and the scenery was breathtaking! In our opinion it was a great way to see Acadia National Park and view the surrounding coastline. The boat was clean and staff was very friendly. We felt the cost was more than reasonable and well worth every penny! Highly... More

Sat on top deck which had a great view, but was really windy and cold. Not their fault, can't control the weather. Saw some wildlife, but enjoyed the views of the water side of Acadia that we had seen the previous day. Also enjoyed the views of the "cottage" built by the rich people. Did see an eage from a... Joined the tour in Bar Harbor on Friday Sept. 26, 2014 at 12 noon. What a RIP OFF. We wasted $121.00 Four hours on the boat and not one whale was seen. We bet they had not seen a whale for some time because they had all migrated by now. They tell you your ticket is good for 3 years.... More

We went on the Nature evening cruise. Windy and coolish, but acptain and crew were very accommodating. Had a wonderful experience and learned a lot about nature along the coast of Maine from a knowledgeable young woman in the narrated trip. Saw many birds, seals, granite! Sam, in the galley, was pleasant and ready to suggest other fun things to... More
