We took the 2 hour afternoon Nature Cruise on a beautiful clear sky day. I wish I could remember the narrator's name-- he was really outstanding! Along with interesting tidbits about flora, fauna, geology & history, he also provided a fairly extensive reading list. Best of all, even though he has done this for years, he remains enthusiastic & fresh... More

We went on a decently calm day during the first few days of July. Out of the gate they warned everybody about swells we would encounter when out in open waters and you could be fully refunded if you exited now. Many people departed and by the look of many people on the boat mid-trip, I'm sure many others wish... More

We were leaving to start the long trip back to Ga and decided at the last minute to take this tour. I am so glad we did. The boat was great and it was an extremely comfortable ride out to the Gulf of Maine. We hoy to see even more of Bar Harbor as we moved out into the North... More

We took the lobster tour as we had two small grandchildren wit us and we were not sure how they would do on a longer tour. Our captain and the naturalist were great and we saw seals, eagles and watched the process of trapping lobster. The ocean can get a little choppy even on a seemingly calm day, so don't... More

Just a bit of advice from someone who spent 2 days of our trip trying to take this whalewatching tour.I appreciate that the company cannot control the weather. However, they would say after standing in line for close to an hour after canceling a trip to call back at 7:30 the next morning.Did that twice and they said they were going out... We were booked into a whale watch on 2 consecutive days in June and both were cancelled. I can't criticise the fact that the trips were cancelled as obviously conditions are outwith the company's control - but they handled the cancellation poorly. On the day we were supposed to go on the whale watch we arrived an hour early to... More

The crew has a lot to do with this review of the "Lobster Fishing and Seal Watching" as we enjoyed every minute of their involvement with us and the passengers. That being said, we didn't feel like passengers. The young lady guide was patient and an excellent educator/teacher throughout the tour. Her interaction with each and every passenger, and especially... More

We have just been on an afternoon Nature and Sightseeing cruise, and although the weather was not great (foggy and raining) we had an enjoyable time. The crew were all very professional and the boat was well maintained. The tour took us around the islands and along the coast of the Acadia National Park. There is a naturalist on board... More

A great trip! We got to see a humpback whale which was quite an experience! I believe they had a marine biologist onboard who provided lots of information about whales and what you can see in the Atlantic. Take Dramamine before you go if you are even slightly inclined to seasickness. The swells in the Atlantic get pretty big and... More

We went on a whale and puffin tour early in the morning. I have been on other whale watching tours in different states, so knew what to expect, but the wind on our day was much stronger than I expected. We saw puffins and other birds on an island, and then headed for whale territory. We saw porpoises, and mienke... More
