Bundle up! It may be nice and sunny outside but the wind was ice cold! We saw 6 fin whales and 1 humpback, I heard the afternoon tour saw a baby humpback jump out of the water. The crew filled us with information about whales and puffins and they pointed out the sights as we passed by them. The boat... more

My wife and myself were really looking forward to this but were really dissapointed, and at $56 each we were expecting much better. The trip lasted 4 hours, and although we did see a few pilot whales we both agreed we would not go through it again. We were on the middle floor and the commentry was inaudable even though we were... more

We took the whale watch tour and it was a very rough outing. Seas were choppy & a lot of people got seasick. After a lengthy trip, we turned back and never saw any whales, very disappointing. However, the company issued everyone a voucher for another trip. Even after a couple of days I didn't think I was up for... more

After reading other reviews we decided to skip the whales and took another tour offered by this company - a tour of Baker Island. It was well worth the money. Our boat was a relatively small converted lobster boat which could hold about 30 passengers. It has a bathroom but no food service. The tour takes you along the Mt.... more

I have to be perfectly honest here. It was probably one of the worst experiences of my life. They morning started well with sunny skys and I checked the local weather to find seas at 2-4 feet. I was bringing my family (wife, twins 7 & a 9 yr old), so I knew to check the weather. Our family has... more

The WHae Watch boat also does regular lighthouse/national park tours. The lighthouse and national park tour was very informative. The crew also did a little part of a nature tour on the way back by slowing down around the area where harbor seals congregate. Well worth the money. more

Honestly I didn't have the greatest experience on this Whale Watch, but I cannot blame the company and can't say we weren't warned. What started out as a beautiful day quickly became foggy and windy shortly before our trip. We were warned many times ahead of time to wear warm clothes, and that it was foggy and this made sea... more

I went on the just whales trip on July 21, 2009. The trip was three hours (1-4pm) and very enjoyable. The seas were calm; very few people were sick (that I could see). We saw 5 Fin Whales and 2 Humpbacks as well as a multitude of seals and porpoises. For those of you who are birders, I saw Greater... more

The excitement of seeing whales left me giddy and childlike. The tour guide was incredibly well-informed. The cruise was well timed and the crew very friendly. Remember to bring a jacket/coat and a hat that won't blow off. The wind is strong and chilly during the ride out to sea. Smile pretty for your photo taken before boarding the boat. more
