We went twice! Family show one night and adults only the other. Everyone is terrific and we laughed so hard. Jen is wonderful and so is Laurance. We love Improv Acadia ! If you like to laugh, you must visit when you are in Bar Harbor.

We've been to ImprovAcadia many times and it's always a joy. Each show is amazing and entertaining. If you're lucky and are in Bar Harbor during a weekend when the cast is doing Improvision, see that too! We just finished up a two-week vacation in Bar Harbor, and saw three shows. We almost went to a fourth. It's that much... More

We attended the 8pm kid friendly show and there were lots of children there. Some of them got to participate in the show and really enjoyed themselves. Food and drink was reasonably priced. We had a few beers as we had already eaten. Skits were very entertaining and completely improv ! Small room so all seats are good to see... More

The performers were truly funny and creative. This is such a treasure for Bar Harbor. My family enjoyed the 8pm show. Every single staff/cast member was friendly, professional, and courteous. I look forward to going again.

My sister and husband were in Acadia a few weeks before I visited and loved the Improv, so I went with my 21-year-old niece. Sure, it was the "adult" show that started at 10, but that's not really an excuse for the first half of the show, which was profoundly unfunny, unless you find people simulating oral sex or describing... The Improv show was hilarious and still had my husband and I laughing about it the next day. If you are not afraid to laugh, then give this place a try. The venue is small but it makes it feel very intimate and that adds to the fun!!!

Our family of 5 (including 3 teenagers) enjoyed the 8 p.m. show on a Sunday night. Not a large venue, but definitely entertaining and wholesome. We had a fun time. It's true improv, and it's nice how they vary the format throughout the show. Definitely recommend it.

After a day of hiking we wanted to relax and be entertained. This improv show was good but not great. We did enjoy the show but I just cannot rave about it. 3 of the 4 actors were really very good....but 1 was not great. If they fine-tuned the group, it has great potential.

I am working in Acadia National Park for the summer, so I've been spending quite a bit of time in Bar Harbor when I'm not out hiking the trails. Last night a friend and I visited Improv Acadia for their early (8pm) show. They also have a later show, which I will have to attend sometime. The owner said the... More
