A wonderful library, replete with history of the town. The staff was friendly, the ambience delightful, and the presentation and thought on display to engage the visitor with items of interest, history and local flavor was exceptional. We stopped by briefly and were so impressed we bought their calendar and donated to support this mircocosm of New England life. The... More

I happened to stop here while on vacation because a favorite author was starting a book signing tour (Kim Stanley Robinson - Aurora). The architecture inside is beautiful. A tall center room has a balcony on either side with wooden spiral stairs. Stop in and take a look!

Really interesting visit. The library (both interior and exterior) is in pristine condition. Very quiet reading room with an excellent selection of current periodicals. Staff was friendly and welcoming.

This is a wonderful library that has been serving the community for over 100 years. Not only is it a great library but they have many events and programs covering varied interests. Browse and enjoy the coolness of the building on a warm day. They are closed on Sunday & Monday.

Local library but they do lend books to people in town visiting just put down a deposit on your book and it is yours. The Jesup also has many events in the evening with a spectrum of speakers.

We've walked past this lovely building, but never stopped in til this past visit. They were having a book sale ... and that is what lured us in! Lots of books to choose from at the sale, and regular library books to borrow, as well. Friendly staff, too.

Also wifi, computers, and a beautiful building. Used books sell for cheap and they have a decent selection. Programs include speakers, contra dances, kid things. A nice place to just hang on a rainy day or to sit and read.
