We walked out to this small island at low tide. It was fun to walk around and we saw a seal just of the rocky shore. Make certain you know when the tide starts coming in because it comes in fast and you might get stuck wading across the sand bar.

We loved thetrails in this area and spent our time hiking. Noticed that park visitors use bikes on the trail alot and will diffinitely have a bike each the next time we visit.

Wonderful hiking - majestic peaks, ocean air, brilliant fall colors - overall an absolutely fantastic experience - highly recommended, especially in autumn!

Nice little hike to the high point of the island . . . we were there on a cloudy day and didn't see much, but when it's clear I'll be the views are stunning.

We did do the trail out on Bar Island. The views from the island of Bar Harbor are beautiful...Definitely worth the hike if you feel like. Just make sure you don't take too long out there.

We were blown away by this place. You can almost forget that your time here is very limited before the tide comes in. It is so unreal, one has to experience for themselves to believe it. It literally will take your breath away, in more ways than one. Wonderful.

The Gorham Mountain trail was perfect for a short day hike. Magnificent views and not too difficult.
