Very scenic lighthouse with bald eagles when we visited there - dramatic! You'll need a boat to get there - take one of the "Friendship" boats from Bar Harbor - they're really good.

Stopped while on a boat cruise. Lots of seals to see, some come close to the boat. Also saw a nesting bald eagle. You also get great views of the harbor. We were given some of the history of the lighthouse keepers.

There are TONS of wild life on the break water attached to this light. We even saw a bald eagle hanging out on the ridge of the house. B E A U T I F U L

We went on a boat excursion and stopped here briefly to watch the seals and crashing surf. The lighthouse is not much to look at.

This lighthouse is really pretty and it's setting is incredible!! On bathe day we were there the water was full of harbor and gray seals. The lighthouse is a great throwback to an interesting history.

The lighthouse adds extra charm to the view from Bar Harbor and atop of Cadillac Mountain. Pretty cool!

It is not the most attractive lighthouse. Interesting that it is still functional but automated. Enjoyed seeing the seals resting on the rocks surrounding the lighthouse.

We did the Nature Cruise which goes out to the ocean side of Bar Harbor and before you come back into Frenchman Bay you visit Egg Rock Light, and while we were out there, there were seals on the rocks close by.

We saw the Egg Rock Light while we were on the Harbor Nature Cruise. This Light House is still an important part of the safety of Frenchman's Bay. Keeping boaters aware of the rocks. The Cruise Line was careful to move the boat around so that all passangers were afforded access to photo opps.
