We used the bus in the evening when we went into Bar Harbor. It was very punctual and the drivers were friendly. The bus picked us up right at our hotel, The Atlantic Eyrie, and dropped us off right in the center of town. They had a schedule so we always asked the driver when the return times were as... More

Guide was colorful, park is so beautiful, got to see a lot of Maine's rugged coast. I liked it all, disliked nothing.

We used the shuttle bus several times. The service is efficient and prompt. The only downside we found is that the roads are really beat up in spots, and the buses find each and every pothole.

It took awhile to figure out the schedule, but once we did - nothing could have been easier to hop aboard the Explorer Bus and leave your car at the hotel.

The convenience of the buses is beyond useful. But could they put some springs in those things ?!!. With all the money flowing into the area from the tourist trade, there must be a down time when they could handle maintenance. My friend and I drove the park loop, taking about three to four hours to stop and take photos, climb around on the rocks, and sit by the ocean. Such a spectacularly beautiful place!

Jam packed with tourists but plenty of open and quiet space on the hiking trails. We hiked Cadillac north and south ridge, best hiking day in years.

I liked the ease of use with different routes and how you could switch to fit your plans and time schedule and informative staff.

If you like hiking, biking, or riding this is one park you want to tour. The coast and waters are great to look at. The rocks are a sight to behold. Also the granite bridges are great to look at and take pictures of everything. Cadillac Mtn. is the highest point on the eastern seaboard.
