An awesome way to get around the island for free. Even if you don't get off the bus and take it round trip you are sure to see parts of the island you wouldn't see on your own with beautiful views.

This free shuttle was a great way to get around at our own pace and we got to decide when to stop! The views were spectacular even with the foggy conditions! Make sure you take the time to read the map times and plan out your day. You will need to buy a park pass before you get on the... More

This bus tour helped me to know what I was seeing and to make choices for more exploring when returning in a car. Some of the parking spots are a little hard to find, and the driver helped point them out for the return trip.

Oh my goodness. Really. I mean, this is so freaking awesome. My husband and I visited for the second time in 4 years (3rd time for me in 10 years!) and we knew we wanted to try the Island Explorer. We both can be a little timid, so it was an adventure for us--but wow, it was absolutely a great... More

The Explorer is a great bus. I'm all for driving around and taking my own sweet time. But when you don't feel like getting behind the wheel and just want to jump on & off where ever you want and not have to worry about parking... I'm more than happy to wait for the Explorer.

We visited Acadia in October and really enjoyed the fall colors. The hike up Cadillac Mountain was breath-taking (literally) and just an awesome view to experience once we made it to the top. Highly recommended!

We took this tour as I wanted to see the area without having to drive and what a great time we had the driver kept us informed all the way round and we stopped at some great places for photo opportunities.

For all you camping buffs out there, If you want to camp at one of the most beautiful State Parks in the USA, (in the summer) this is it! Make sure you get to the Top of Cadilac Mountain as well. It is the first place the sun hits on the East coast every morning. A spectacular view!
