Awesome

It's my 2nd trip and will continue to go back. There is plenty to explore by car or on foot. Plenty of areas to pull over by car and park.

Our first trip here and it was eyeopening. A wonderful national park with so many trails for walking or hiking and fantastic views of the ocean and many bays from elevations that were relatively easy to get to (especially if you drive to the top of Cadillac Mountain!).

Loved our tour guide. It was the first tour of the season - but he is a seasoned pro. The tour guide was very informative and charming. Well worth the price!

Good on LL Bean for sponsoring these buses. The leave from the Village Green and seem to cover the whole park regularly. The drivers were absolutely lovely. Our holiday couldn't have been better thanks to these!"

We parked in the large parking lot at the visitor center. If you decide to drive through the park you can purchase your parking pass here. We decided to ride the bus completely through the park returning to the visitor center. That is how we decided which sites we wanted to drive our car to and get out to explore... More

Our family used this service several times when in the park. From memory it was free, funded I think by the town. Just brilliant. Drops you off where you want to go and they do several loops throughout the park. Our bus didn't turn up for some reason (end of season, staff off sick, slipped through the gaps), so the... More

Convenient travel to the park... leave your car behind! Hop on and off at your leisure, but check for times so you are not left behind for a length of time. Convenient central location on the Green for all points Acadia!

We rode the Explorer bus with our 3 Weimaraners nearly every day during our week in Bar Harbor. The drivers and passengers were all very nice. Couldn't be more appreciative and happy to tip the drivers.
