A fun stop after Lobster next door

This winery is next to C-Ray, the best place on MDI for Lobster. It's a fun stop, some good wines, quite a selection! Also chocolates and coffees, so there is plenty to... read more

I wish I could review the quality of the wine, but unfortunately, because of the chaos and customer service, I didn't get the chance to sample any! When I arrived, no staff welcomed me or instructed me on how to start a tasting. I waited about 5 minutes for a employee to help me. Finally, I eyed what another couple... More

Whenever I travel to a new state, I visit a local winery and bring some wine home. After our initial greeting, we were permitted a complimentary tasting but were told we could not sample the tasting flight because they had had a busy day! We had the ice wine - good - and the Pinot noir and Riesling - not... More

Very good wines and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. You'll want to buy some wines after tasting. We never had an aged ice wine until we stopped here.

Thanks for stopping in and trying some of our great wines. Folks are really enjoying the Ice Wine this season, perhaps because flavors continue to develop with age. And it is very reasonably priced. Appreciate you talking the time to give our little winery such a nice review. Please stop in and see us again on your next trip to... More

I was not a wine drinker before visiting this place. My FAVORITE is the "ice wine" & the black currant apple wine. Amazing! Their chocolate room is a great touch. I really wish they were able to ship to Maine, but that just means we'll have to visit again this fall!

I'm so glad you gave some of our non-grape wines a try! I'm a big fan of the Black Currant Apple blend myself, it reminds me of Port. The Apple wine and the Cranberry wine are not really sweet at all, and our best selling wine is, perhaps surprisingly, Blueberry. It's what I call semi-sweet and bears a resemblance to... More

They make wine from grape juice from all over the world. For $5 you can select 6 wines to sample. Bottle prices are about $19 each and we chose 2 wines to take home. If you select 3 there is a $5 discount. Our host of was knowledgeable about the wines.

Thanks for stopping and trying some of our wines. With 4 Reds, 4 Whites and 5 non-grape wines we offer something for everyone's taste. Along with the wines, we also have a nice selection of sausages and cheese, as well as a room dedicated to Maine chocolatiers. Stop by again on your next trip to Acadia! More

Thanks for stopping in and trying some of our great wine! And thanks for sharing your experience with others. With at least 12 wines available for sampling, we're pretty sure anyone can find a wine that pleases them. Be sure to stop in again on your next trip to Acadia! More

Decided to stop here after going to Atlantic Brewery because it was on the way into town. Tasting room is quite nice. Staff was nice. Wine was meh. Some of it was fine, but seems overpriced for what it is. I agree with the other reviewers that it was slightly disappointing that very few of the ingredients come from Maine... More

A kind of disappointing stop on The Maine wine trail, not many of their wines feature locally sourced fruit, even the cranberries come from Massachusetts, very touristy, and that's okay but it would be nice if they sourced more of their wine ingredients from Maine, just sayin

I'm glad you had the opportunity to visit our little winery in Bar Harbor. What started out in 2004 as a whimsical attempt at viticulture has evolved into a popular attraction in the Acadia area. While we haven't had a lot of success making wine from the grapes grown on the property, our winemaker has developed a keen knack for... More

So glad we went here- very knowledgable and to my liking, drier wines (except fruit and ice wines). Very cute barn!

Thank you for stopping in and visiting our little winery in Bar Harbor. What started as a whim in 2004 has become a popular attraction in the Acadia area. We try to offer a wide variety of wine, to please a broad array of tastes. The barn itself is attractive and provides the space to offer fine local chocolates, a... More

Stopped here on a rainy day and was greeted by a very congenial staff. The tastings are free which is a good thing and very smart of the owner. The same owner here also owns the Atlantic Brewery which also has free tastings. The difference between the two is that the beer is better than the wine. The fruit wines... More
