We absolutely loved this boat tour! We had been to Bar Harbor 10 years ago and did whale watching: never saw a whale but got sea sick. So, we decided to try something different on this trip and we are SO glad we did. My parents who are almost 80 years old and my 2 teens still talk about how... More

This was just so much fun! We've been to Bar Harbor every summer for years and was looking for something new to try. We've done all the boat tours that take you along the coast or to the light house or to see the seals, etc. And I'll say we have greatly enjoyed all those cruises. But this time, we... More

I was a little apprehensive at first because I thought it was a little pricey, but I quickly changed my mind. It was a wonderful learning experience for all of us. We got to see what it's like on the ocean floor and we got to learn all about the islands and the sea creatures. The touch tank part was... More

Diver Ed had the whole boat laughing like crazy with his jokes and antics. Best of all, the kids are learning and they don't even realize it because they are having so much fun. Terrific camera work and an enjoyable outing for all of us. Adventurous kids who are into sea life and willing to show their appreciation (my daughter... More

We booked our Diver Ed's Dive In Theater adventure based on reviews submitted here, and we were not dissapointed. Diver Ed's Dive in Theater is a Bar Harbor must do. The combination of the outstanding scenic views, Diver Ed's infectious good humor and hilarious antics, the amazing underwater video and the underwater creatures Diver Ed brings back up to the... What a genius idea! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip out with Diver Ed. It is a unique, fun packed, educational activity for the whole family. Tip… book early! We were staying in Acadia for 4 days and there was little availability left. A must do and we will look forward to another trip out with Diver Ed and his team... More

Not much to add to the other reviews. Excellent for kids age 3 and up, entertaining for all ages. All were totally engaged and focused the whole time.

Diver Ed's Adventure was a highlight of our first trip to Bar Harbor in July. The family friendly excursion allows kids to experience the wonders of Frenchman's Bay within the confines of the boat. Ed and his family make a really enjoyable vacation memory!

We brought our family on Diver Ed's last summer (2013) and again this summer. It is so much more fun for the family than a whale watch. Ed is very engaging with the children. We brought Grandma this time as well, who loved the Newfies. Ed scuba dives under the boat with a camera. The children get to see where... More
