This tour goes out rain or shine. It is great for kids. We took the three hour tour which included a park ranger. I would definitely recommend the three hour tour over the two hour. Even the smaller kids on the tour were entertained the entire time. You meet at the whale skull at the College of the Atlantic (West... More

We went to Bar Harbor recently, having never been there before we really relied on trip advisor and other resources to plan our vacation. Diver Ed's Div In theater was our favorite. We have four children ages 6-12. All 4 kids loved it! Diver Ed knows how to capture his audience while educating them. We all laughed and learned so... More

This was part of our itinerary when we did the Family Nature Camp at College of the Atlantic. Everyone would enjoy this, with or without kids, but the kids really love it, and Diver Ed is very entertaining. It is educational and hands on, and I highly recommend it!!

This tour is a must-do. My family went in a very rainy, foggy evening and still had an amazing experience. Diver ed and the crew are talented and friendly. Recommended for anyone who looking to have some fun while getting a hands on educational experience.

Our entire family loved this outing. Diver Ed is a born educator/entertainer. We went on a rainy day, and still had a wonderful time. The boat is covered, and this activity is great rain or shine. Our kids loved the experience, but wished we had booked the trip with the Park Ranger, as this is geared toward a bit younger... More

What a fantastic experience! Our family said this was their favorite part of our trip to Bar Harbor. Diver Ed is very engaging and entertaining. Young and old will enjoy this experience. The kids get the hands on, learn really cool facts and see what it looks like at the bottom of the ocean. Well worth the time and money.

We took our grand daughters on this cruise and they had a wonderful time. The were engaged the entire cruise, learned all about sea creatures and were able to touch and hold sea stars, sea cucumbers, lobsters and crabs. I would hightly recommend this activity to anyone visiting MDI, esp. if you have children along.

We went with eight people (ages 5 - 67) on a full ship, and we all had a blast! Diver Ed, Captain Evil, and the crew of Undersea Superheroes are welcoming, engaging and I sure learned a lot! Did you know sea cucumbers are related to sea stars? Me neither! I learned that and some other intriguing info about sea... More

My husband and I live in Bar Harbor, so we are familiar with the area's activity options. During a family visit involving ages 10 to 80, it was a no-brainer to opt to go out with Diver Ed. We knew everyone would enjoy the excursion, including us. Sure enough, we found the trip a great way for the six of... More

We went out on July 8th, weather was absolutely gorgeous. We opted for the tour with the park ranger on board as the kids are getting older. Both kids really liked and got involved by interacting in the touch tanks, etc. We were able to see harbor porpoise, seals, bald eagles. We had gone on Diver Ed a few years... More
