We signed up for the 10 am cruise switched to noon due to fog then switched back again. So glad we did as the weather though misty was mostly clear and sunny. Our narrator, Carl, spoke the entire trip. He told us stories about the mansions we passed; identified the birds and other wildlife with details about their habits and... More

My teenage boys had a blast! the crew were full of travel tips to the harbor and the island history. The boys caught a wake load of fish and kept some for eating which they cleaned right on the boat on the way back to the harbor. Great Crew of Guys and would recommend this as one of your stops... This tour was very informative and a great way to see scenery and nature at it's best. The September sunny afternoon was a perfect opportunity to take this few hour cruise. We saw harbor seals and bald eagles. The small islands are amazing and the homes we saw were beautiful. The captain was great about pointing out all the sites,... More

There are many boat tours in Bar Harbor and I'm glad we chose this one. We went on the afternoon Sightseeing and Nature Cruise on a beautiful sunny day. Our guide was very interesting and entertaining, the boat was not too crowded and was very comfortable (they are not kidding about bringing a jacket). Seeing those beautiful islands up close... Went for a sunset cruise on Monday, August 17th 2015. I've taken this sunset cruise twice before in previous years and this years was definitely the best! Saw 2 eagles fly about 10 ft above the boat (make sure you sit up top! better views) porpoise, seals, etc. It's a very relaxing cruise, the sunset was perfect that day. Thom... More

Went out on the sunset cruise mid August. We saw Eagles, Seals, a lighthouse, and the beautiful coastline. The boat had snacks and beverages for sale and the staff was very polite and knowledgeable. This time of year make sure you wear pants and a sweatshirt. A beautiful sunset over Acadia ended the voyage.

We had a fantastic time on the fishing trip. We did bring sweaters as we were advised to, and found them quite useful even if it was quite hot on land. The boat took us to various locations across the bay. The crew was very attentive to everyone and super helpful. We saw an eagle on the way back. All in... More

Sailing around Frenchman's Bay on a sunny afternoon is a wonderful experience, and a great way to get a new perspective on the stunning scenery. Seeing wildlife is largely a matter of of luck when you just have a two hour slot, but the team did a great job of spotting what was there. With a post graduate marine biologist... More

During a slow relaxing day my party decided to check out the sunset nature cruise. This cruise as described in other reviews is a nature / sightseeing tour . While traveling through frenchmans bay you will be given a great history lesson of the area along with views of Eagles, seals and harbor porpoise. It's very educational with beautiful views... More
