The best flavor! Chocolate ice cream, marshmallow, and bits of brownie. The ordering process is unlike anything I have encountered, but have a sense of humor. It was a perfect place to come after watching the Bar Harbor Band play a concert in the Village Green on a beautiful July night. Very Norman Rockwell.

My family stopped in here to get some ice cream on a Thursday evening. Place was crowded and chaotic. Lots of yelling for people to "keep moving, keep moving" from the counter workers. My first son wanted a butterscotch shake, but they didn't have that; so he orders a vanilla shake with caramel. Second son orders 2 scoops of cookie... More

After hours of shopping in the hot sun my wife and I stopped here to get some ice cream. They have many, many flavours to choose from. I picked the orange-pineapple and my wife chose the blueberry. You can have it either in a cone or in a dish. The homemade ice cream was really good and it was a... More

While in Bar Harbor, we stopped several times into the shop. White Russian and Joyous Almond we our favorite. Also, they have refreshing Gelato.

The staff is unfriendly here. Always. I feel a little rushed in here and not eager to linger. But, despite reviews about the ice cream being bad, I have been only impressed with their flavors and it's why I keep coming back. If you can shuffle through the line and ignore the staff, the ice cream is delicious and a... More

Went there in April after climbing Mt Dorr. Yum, did see the lobster flavor but prefer that right out of the sea so did not try that one. Little expensive but it's not like you would have it every day. Or, maybe you do!

The ice cream was bad. Even tasted freezer burnt. They have lobster ice cream. which is funny, but not good too.

I've been visiting Ben and Bill's since I was a child. My family has been camping on Bar Harbor for years, and no trip is complete without a stop for ice cream, and a box of fudge to take home. It's worth waiting in line for this fudge--homemade, rich and creamy. The ice cream is also delicious, and also homemade.... More

We ended up here in the morning and it wasn't crowded. Looking around at the variety, this place is amazing ... And you couldn't appreciate that if there is a line out the door for ice cream when you are there.

The ice cream here was expensive, no better than what other places in town have, and we got treated terribly. On our visit the place was very crowded and we were virtually pushed through the line while the staff kept yelling "keep moving". We couldn't even see the ice cream in the case until it was time to place the... More
