Relatively easy walking trail with the most gorgeous views and rock formations, just had the best time exploring, climbing the rocks, watching the tide come, picnicking, etc. A must do in Acadia

A very easy and beautiful walk. It can be done in 30 minutes but we stop for so many pictures it took us double the time lol. It's a great way to start your visit to Bar harbor Maine.

As other's have said, this is a great stroll to enjoy after a full day of seeing Acadia National Park, walking around town, having great seafood and then strolling along this beautiful trail with nature at it's finest on one side and beautiful homes and grounds on the other. We started at the harbor, then up past our hotel (Bar Harbor Inn) to the end, then up the side streets to town for desert! Beautiful views, not crowded (Mid July) and places to jump off and explore the shore line for the kids.

Always use it in Acadia NP to see the coast and when possible get access to the rocks to water color.

Parked at Sandy beach and started this trail. It is right along the road with cars and tons of people. You can go out on rocks along it, but you're better off to hike the carrage trails or a mountain top tail. Too much car traffic, not peaceful.
