Crowded, but very helpful national park staff. Buy your $25 park driving pass here (if you're biking as well, no additional charge). Introduction to a beautiful park, with miles of carriage roads and hiking trials. If biking - be sure to pull over and stop if you meet a horse drawn carriage. If you overtake a carriage, slow down and... More

Very friendly rangers who offered good advice and suggestions for hikes and activities in the park. Good selection of books and gift items in the shop

Close to where we stayed. Bought $25 park pass here. Everyone was nice. Purchased a map of hiking trails here for $5. Watched a short film about Acadia in theater. It was kind of cool and pretty informative.

We stopped by on 2 occasions during our time in Acadia Park. We purchased a Lifetime parking pass to all National Parks; so glad we did! It will most definitely prove useful on this and many future visits to national parks. The ranger explained that it doesn't make any sense to try to park the car between 9am and 3PM... More

We went here to get our pass to the park. The ladies there were very helpful. They explained different things that we needed to see.

Hulls Cove Visitor Center does everything a good visitor center should - it provides you with a basic introduction. You can see a large relief map of the park and island to orient yourself. You can watch a short film about the history of and/or the natural features of the park. You can buy an audio tour for the park... More

Bought pass to park here. Rangers were all very helpful and pleasant. I was a bit disappointed in amount of print information. Had to wait in line to get specific information. No real complaints.

This visitors center has so much to offer. It is a bit of a climb up many stairs but there is handicap access if needed.

This is a great visitor center. It has everything thing you need to know about Acadia. The staff is very knowledgeable and the information is very helpful. The large relief map gives you a birds eye view of the park.

You have to start your visit to Acadia National Park at THIS Visitor Center -- even if you stopped at the one on Route 3 just at the entrance to Mount Desert Island. This is THE HUB. Large, very detailed 3D topographic map, right in the middle, to get your bearings and plot your routes for your visit. Very knowledgeable,... More
