you need to go here first after entering Acadia Park in order to get your pass for parking your car. They charge $25 for the week or $50 for the year for a pass inside Acadia Park. The park rangers and staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about helping you find the best trail to meet your needs. There are... More

Lots of information and everything you need to get you through the park. Lots of steps to get to the center, but it's worth it.

You can get great maps, useful info, and there is a nice gift shop. You need to go there to get a park pass.

This place always seems super busy. We were there buying our park pass and the line was out the door. But I will say the line dose move pretty quickly. The people working there were very helpful and could easily answer all my questions.

The easiest place to get your acadia park passes before hopping on the park loop road. It can be very busy though so plan on being there for a awhile.

Depending on the time, be prepared to wait in a long line to speak to a ranger behind the desk. I've been to dozens of National Parks, and have never seen this before! That being said, the rangers were kind and helpful. The visitor's center is smaller than I expected, but it provided basic information to orient you to the... More

Must stop to begin your orientation of the park. Great facilities and information. Plenty of parking and located on most shuttle routes.
