We went here on our way into the park. I understand things by looking at maps and the giant 3D model they have on display was a great resource that helped me plan some of my day. The line for park passes wasn't very long when we were there, but you can buy it later at the gate while driving... More

We went to Hulls Cove to fulfill part of our Acadia Quest (see FriendsofAcadia.org). Upon arrival we learned about (or were reminded) the Jr. Ranger program at all the National Parks. The rangers were very helpful and explained all the kids needed to do. Our children, ages 10+11, LOVED the program and I would highly recommend both the Jr. Ranger... More

Not a lot there, but nice movie. Rangers were very helpful and well informed. Typical national park gift shop. Good place to park and take the very convenient shuttle

Upon entering we were shocked to see the long lines for park passes. We had gotten ours in the ranger station at the village green in bar harbor. The fifteen minute film was lame. Surprised it was so bad - usually National Parks do a good job on these films. Not really much there. We did buy the usual magnet,... More

Guides were friendly and helpful. 52 steps to go to the Ladies Room! Long line for it and then -- a guide suggested we try the Ladies Room downstairs. Where was the sign for the lower level Ladies Room?

Very helpful information before exploring Acadia. There is a brief film to introduce visitors to the park. A small gift shop, and Park Ranger presentations for explorers of the outdoors.

We watched the movie on Acadia. There is the topographical map of the area that most Visitors' Centers have. There is a little shop of books, maps, mugs, t shirts… that are all applicable to Acadia. There is a NP stamp cancellation station. There are plenty of rangers on hand to answer questions and guide you. The restrooms were clean.... More

I stopped several times during my visit to use the restroom facilities. The visitor center is hopping from 9:30-4:00, but I did not have to wait in line to buy my park pass even right in the middle of the day. There are always rangers available to answer questions. They were able to give me details and great advice about... More

We stopped here to get information and I am so glad we did. The rangers were so helpful and gave users of good tips for what we wanted to do. We also used their free bus service to get around as we acquainted ourselves with the park.

Great staff. Tough climb to center for some. Long wait in July. Rangers worked the line to address any issues
