I'd been snorkeling in another part of Micronesia the day before and didn't want to go out in the bright sun again so soon, but I would have gone swimming otherwise.

It's a really long strip and walkable from Hotel Road. I like it a lot because there are a lot of spots - away from the tourists where you can just lay down and soak up the sun. The area past the Church or Chapel has little to no tourist and the sand in the water is very smooth, they... More

Sandy beach with warm waters to walk barefoot. Just a block down from Tumon Blvd with all the shopping and restaurants.

It gets pretty crowded along Tumon beach so I would suggest that you walk along the long beach and find a quiet spot here. I would suggest the areas with the trees behind Westin. But the beach is very clean and beautiful its a great place to come to and its the nearest to the main tourist area.

Blue, clear waters, clean beach - spend 3 days lounging in the sea and sand. The beach is long and dotted with a mix of resorts and public beach areas. By passing through the resort areas which are filled with kayaks, paddle boats etc you can find a quieter spot. Locals brings down SUPs, BBQs, coolers, shade tents etc and... More

The beach is kept quite clean considering it is greeted with a lot of tourist. The best part about this beach is the opportunity to snorkel in shallow waters. One doesn't have to go very far in the waters to enjoy the different schools of fish. A must do while in Guam for any age.

The bay sees lots of people, but still there are lots of fish close to shore. I pulled my kids around (they had life jackets, but the water was usually not up to my shoulders) and they got to see colorful fish which they totally enjoyed. There are shady trees at different spots which provided needed shade. The beach never... More

Tumon Beach is really great place to spend your Holiday. The white fine sand is beautiful and the water is warm and shallow almost 100 meters form the water line. There are also not big waves hitting the beach which makes the swimming more pleasant. There is however a water current that can be more challenging for smaller kids. In... More

Tumon Bay is a wonderful place for snorkeling. The fish seem to have become bigger and more numerous since it became a reserve. Be careful of the currents. They can be strong and weak swimmers or parents with small children should be vigilant.
