My cousin and I (21) both had an awesome night at Chief's Luau! I have been to one before but my cousin hasn't and she thought it was spectacular. I didn't enjoy the food as much as another one I have done on Maui but we definitely got lovely food for what we paid for. The Chief is very funny... More

We were in Oahu for our honeymoon and we were glad that we went to Chief's Luau. Before the dinner and show started, there were some pre-show activities and we learned to make cocona-leave headdress and got paint tattoos. The dinner wasn't bad for a buffet -- plenty of food, but just a little bit lack of variety. The show... More

If your on Oahu and want to do a Luau while your there, then Chief would be the ticket. We were very entertained and the food was excellent. The Chief believes in audience participation which makes it very fun. We would highly recommend!

I don't have anything to compare this too since it was our first luau but we really enjoyed it. It was me 30, my best friend 34 and our 8 year olds. The kids really enjoyed the before activities. The food was just average they could add a few more selections. Overall the luau was very entertaining and funny. I... More

We decided to spend some money (over $100 each) and an evening (New Year's Eve) on the kitcschy fun and food that this luau seemed to offer. We got what we wanted but the price felt a bit too high. The dusk dance show was the highlight. Lots of fire, good variety (we enjoyed seeing the dances from the various... More

I can only compare it to Paradise Cove. I bought the ultimate VIP for both luaus (my parents, brother & his gf, me, hubby and our baby), and hands down the Chiefs Luau show was the best. Unfortunately, our waiter at Chief's Luau was inattentive and he took so long with drinks and food that it arrived cold. We might... More

We really enjoyed this with our adult children and their spouses. The food was fine (we had the full table service package). The transportation to and from was great. The show was very entertaining. (The sea life park wasn't operational at the time we were there.) They did a great job managing a large audience. We saw a whale breaching... More

The Chiefs Luau is hilarious! It was so much fun and we couldn't stop laughing and dancing! Everyone was so welcoming, loving and grateful to have us there. We would go back every night if we could! I recommend that you do this on your trip! Best views in town as well!

I have been to other luau's on the island and Chief's Luau was my favorite. The chief was hilarious and kept everyone laughing most of the evening. The fire dancing was some of the best I've seen. The food was delicious and we were invited back for seconds or thirds. Most of all, I was so pleased that the entertainment... More

This was one of the top highlights of our trip to Hawaii. We lived in Hawaii 38 years ago and had been to a luau then. We wanted our family to experience as much of the Hawaiian culture as possible on this return trip and the Chief's Luau met that and more. We went for broke and bought the most... More
