This is one of our favorite beaches. It is a wide expanse of white sand and aqua waters. The backdrop are the beautiful mountains. Usually the beach is pretty empty. There is ample parking and facilities near by.

Soft, white sand. Clean beach. Not crowded. Clean, modern bathrooms close. Water is easily accessible. Rain comes and goes all day long. Seems like more in the afternoon than the morning.

Beyond beautiful!! This beach is by far the best beach on the Island. You can drive right up to the beach, the water is crystal clear, minimal waves, and the best of all there is some shade. This beach is perfect for a friendly gathering or a family outing. Highly recommend it.

Would have loved to spend more time here. Very little people at this beach due to it being on an Air Force base. Unfortunately the rain put a damper on us enjoying it. There are many cheap rentals on base to enjoy the water. A great park and many benches on the beach to sit on. Plus quite a few... More

Some of the beach access is open to the public and parking is limited so arrive early! 3-4 ft waves are fairly consistent and are good enough for the newbie and experienced bodyboarders.

This beach is gorgeous. Bright blue water, steady waves perfect for boogie boarding. It also has the best sand I have ever experienced, feels like foam under your feet. The area is beautiful too, with the mountains and islands in the back drop, its really a sight to see.

We tend to stop at this beach at least once during our trip to the island. This beach is very nice and clean , and has the perfect size waves for body boarding. You can also cam here as well , if you are military you are able to head up a little further on the beach where there are... More

This has been a favorite of our family since the mid 1980s. Long walks on the well groomed beach are such a wonderful way to relieve stress. The beauty fills me with wonder.

It is the most beautiful beach on the island, it's serene when not too crowded. It takes you back to the old days. It's cleaned, well mantained and safe ! Love sitting on the beach and watch the waves crashing on the pristine white sand beach.

This beach is on Bellows Air Station and open to US Military ID card holders. It has picnic areas, lifeguards, a PX, Subway Sandwich shop, sports equipment rentals, and overnight cabins/condos, and the best beach on Oahu! Great for the entire family. The surf is gentle and the sand is like powdered sugar. Bellows offers tours (snorkling, kayaking, etc) which... More
