Cute little soap factory tucked away in Waialua if you visit the north shore of Oahu. They have a sink at the back of the store to try the different soaps and scrubs. If the owner is around, he's very friendly and likes to talk about his business and the building he is in. Definitely a historical area and the... More

NSSF is located at the old Waialua Sugar Mill on the North Shore. It can be a little difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area but it's well worth the search. Once in the parking lot, follow the little painted rubber duckies to the entrance. Inside you'll find a wonderful selection of locally made soaps and lotions,... More

This was heaven for a girl like me who loves bar soap and lotions. The building is an old sugar mill. Very cool. We got to see them make the soap. The ladies there were very helpful and informative. It happened to be Earth day when we were there and purchased unboxed soaps for 20% off. What a deal! I,... More

We showed up late in the day so our visit was lackluster. During the day they give better tours. At the end of the day they had all they could do to hurry us out. Ou fault for showing up too late. But, I would only return when they are actively making soap rather than seeing stopped equipment and being... More

This was a fun stop, there was a very helpful young lady that told us about the history of the building and soap making. It doesn't take long, we enjoyed it.

We were disappointed in this as it was more of a small factory with a few displays and lots of soap products. The best part was seeing how soap was actually made and seeing it in huge blocks before cutting. If you happen to be up that way stop and check it out but we don't recommend a special trip... More

Had no idea this place even existed so it wasn't on my list of stops to make. Saw it in a brochure at the rental I'm staying at and decided to check it out. It is a very nice place. Loved all the different soaps and other items they had. Grabbed a few things as souvenirs. Pricing is decent at... More

Was expecting more after reading the reviews, but they do sell soap and it is in an old sugar cane building. Small shop with employees more interested in yucking it up with each other than with helping customers. Lots of old stuff in the area outside the shop. Guessing it is from the old sugar cane days. Some explanation would... More

Very interesting and I love homemade specialty soaps so I was extremely excited when I found this in a tour book. I bought some great gifts to take home for family and friends. Loved the coconut soap dishes and they had soaps (boxed) marked down buy 5 get 1 free. Really neat building shaped like a cone its ran out... More
