We went for the train ride, and it was surprisingly fun and informative. Lots of fun to walk through the gardens and get acquainted with the variety of plants. The souvenirs are interesting in the store. The caveat I would give: beware of paying for them to crack open an oyster at the outside booths for just $15. If you... More

I think it's one of those place you should go to so you can say you were there. Yes, it is touristy, but guess what? I'm a tourist :). The Dole Whip alone is worth going there for. It's interesting to see how pineapples grow and learn about the soil conditions, etc. The main gift shop area is huge!

It's great to stop by for a little snack, have some Dole Pineapple Whip or some chocolate dipped pineapple. But unfortunately it has just turned into a huge money making tourist trap. It isn't small and quaint like it used to be. I have been there before, before it grew to this point. And I will go again when I... More

We went to the plantation after visiting Pearl Harbour. A perfect antidote to a very somber morning. We declined the expensive tour and our teen was not interested in the little train, but I saw many younger kids having a blast. The store has every kind of pineapple-themed item you could think of, and then some. The Dole Whip -... More

My family enjoyed this stop on our way to North Shore. We entered the large gift shop/restaurant and enjoyed Dole Whips. We also took the train ride. My teens got a kick out of the "cheesiness" of the whole deal. Overall, it was a fun stop.

If you come here for one thing come for the Pineapple Dole Whip! It is so good!!! We grabbed some and then walked around the grounds. WE didn't stay long but we were glad we stopped!

My wife and I visited during our honeymoon in late March 2014. It was part of a bus tour that drove us around most of the island of Oahu. This place is definitely a tourist trap. I had no idea that so many trinkets pertaining to the pineapple were possible. I enjoyed the frozen creamy pineapple treat that we purchased... More

so very disappointed! the maze was the best part! so its not a real plantation any more they take you out on a train ride that well goes through a mock of things and back! and then its crazy to try to get a Dole Whip as there is no such thing as a line. Don't weast your money

Just an OK stop as the Dole pineapple industry is not what is once was. The gift shop is huge and a real tourist trap (very expensive ) Everything in there has "Dole" on it, so if you want Dole souvenirs , there you are. Macadamia nuts were at least 2x more there than the mac farm we had just... More

Mostly enjoy the pineapple icecream with coconut topping and special of the day rice with chicken, bcoz this is one of tourist attraction, things get quite pricey but still affordable. The gift shop is huge, you can get whatever souvenir with tourist price. You could spend some time with kids in pineaple express train tour and pineapple garden maze, but... More
