We stopped here but only had 30 minutes which was only enough time to get something to eat and get back on the bus. The pineapple ice cream was very good along with the food. Gonna make a return visit next time in Hawaii.

Looks like all the tourist coaches end up here at the same time. Place was full of tourist queuing for overpriced gifts. Gave up trying to get a ice cream and went outside and enjoyed the gardens instead. They have a 2.5 mile maze which they say is the worlds largest and a two mile narrow gauge railway which is... Here you can enjoy walking in its beautiful garden, finding your way in its maze, and watching how quickly the massive amount of Koi fish devour the food you throw them. This well-known tourist attraction opened as a fruit stand in 1950 and has grown into a big box tourist gift shop, where you can buy all your souvenirs in... More

Question: Where can you buy a pineapple at twice the price you can buy it in the local ABC store? Answer: At the Dole plantation where they grow them!! Over-priced and over-hyped. The Dole plantation really isn't worth the effort of going there in my view.

Don't waste your time in the store/giftshop/food area! Everything here is ridiculously overpriced including the pineapples. You would think a pineapple right from the plantation would be cheap. It's not! They were the most expensive pineapples I've seen on the islands. The pineapple chunks they were selling in the food court area were frozen, not fresh. We didn't do the... More

This was a useful comfort & refresh stop on our circle tour of the island. It might seem a tourist trap, but the gift shop itself did have some nice quality stuff in it, and we were tempted into buying some nice souvenirs.

This stop was on our tour and bus driver highly recommended the whip. We were not disappointed. We were able to buy a few souvenirs while here also.

This was a great way to spend a few hours. We did the little train ride through the plantation, which was very informative. They take your pic and try to get you to buy it afterwards. Learned alot about pineapples! The store there is huge, and sells anything 'pineapple' you can think of. We tried the Dole whip 'ice cream.'... More

I suppose this is worth at least a one time look, but certainly not more than that. Interesting information on the little train ride - but honestly...one big huge tourist trap. Do not eat at the food court - it's disgusting and overpriced. The Dole ice cream was even over the top sweet so much so than none of us... More

Visited Dole Plantations few times over the years. As a kid in the 80s we were able to get free juice from a enormous pineapple in the middle of the store but that is now gone. Still a great place for a visit. Walk through the pineapple fields, feed the koi fish, shop through the great gift shop. Grab a... More
