We were a bit disappointed that we didn't learn very much about Dole and how it came about. We paid money to see a garden of beautiful flowers. Many people had audio devices, but we were not offered any. The salespeople who had their own Kiosk were VERY aggressive.

The sales people are pushy, the train ride was disappointing, the botannical garden was disappointing, there are a lot of opportunities for maintenance. Two things I did like: the pineapple maze and they have some unusual items in their gift shop.

I love it, I learned so much about the different pineapple. It was a nice experience even tho I didn't go in the train or pay for the tour. I would totally recommend for anyone that loves pineapples

The train ride was kinda cool. You can learn about the start of the pineapple and other plants. The best part about the Dole Plantation is the DOLE WHIP! I would go back just for that.

We loved stopping here for a break and some pineapple snacks and souvenirs to take home. There is a maze and train ride as well. Don't miss the rainbow eucalyptus trees in the parking lot! They are beautiful and was our original motivation for stopping.

This place is good to visit at least once. I live in California and we have Dole whip at Disneyland and other places. So, I've had pineapple ice cream before. The maze is okay. Nothing biggie. I had fun feeding the koi fish. I won't be coming back here but I definitely recommend you coming here if you've never tried... More

perhaps my experience would be better if I had gone here on my own. But both visits were part of an Island tour, and time was severely limited. But it's still just an overgrown tourist trap. Pineapple products don't even dominate. Chocolates, candies, toys, souvenirs, shirts, etc take center stage. And it's all junk you can find elsewhere on the... More

We did the train ride and it was nice. There was a good breeze going through the plantation. It was almost closing time so they were rushing us to get to the train. They made is take pics together with a pineapple the kid carried. We learned a lot about the plantation and how Mr. Dole started off. By the... More

The pineapple whip was amazing ! a fascinating glimpse into pineapple growing. Sadly we did not have enough time to enjoy a train ride. Huge souvenir shop and enjoyed a talk about how to cut a pineapple..

It was a crazily busy place with highly priced merchandise. not my cup of tea. But bought the ice cream and a couple of other things. Picked up one of the keys offered as I entered (don't do that). Surprise!!! The key does not open the box to a $million pearl. Stop there. Do not take a number as an... More
