This was fun. The train ride was fun and the kids had fun in the maze. The ice cream was great. Well worth the visit
We wanted to take the train tour, but there was at least an hour long wait. So we just had some of the pineapple ice cream, used the bathroom and were on our way again. Not worth a special trip.
Time at this location should be kept short. If you skip this tourist trap you won't need to feel quilt. The Dole Whip is a refreshing treat and the bathrooms are clean.
Pretty good place to visit if you love tasty pineapples. It's worth it to stop and pick up a souvenir. They sell just about every pineapple product you can imagine. In the garden, they have several variety growing that you can see up close. Service was good. No fee to enter but most attractions do have a fee.
It's not surprising that the pineapple here is very good. The food available was above average, but the service was slow. There is a very nice gift shop with quality items. The garden was average at best and the pineapple maze was fun for a little while then became tedious. I would not go out of my way to go... More
Lots of pineapple based items for sale, not really that interesting, but the pineapple ice cream is worth a visit. I have never tasted anything so fantastic, really the best.
Basically a huge roadside gift shop with a few amenities they call tours and rides. Adults might find this place boring and lacking depth, while kids may enjoy seeing the various types of pineapples and how they are grown. They will also enjoy the giant maze on the property and the huge koi pond. While the kids are having fun,... More
My husband and I recently visited the Dole plantation for the second time in ten years. We went back for only one reason: the pineapple ice cream. It is outstanding, and since we were on the way to visit somewhere else, worth the stop. The property is very well groomed, colourful, appetizing and full of what you would expect, but... More
Basically, it is a nice tourist shop. It has beautiful grounds and a really good selection of gifts/souvenirs. I wish I had bought more of the leather bracelets with the names etched in Hawaiian. This turned out to be the hit of all the things I brought back but Dole was the only place they could be found. The Dole... More
