We made a quick stop here for lunch and pineapple shopping. It was pretty crowded. I didn't expect much from the food, but was pleasantly surprised. The cafe food was excellent. The dole whip, was totally worth the stop alone. Hope to spend more time there if I return to Oahu.
We were rather disappointed in this stop. What bothered us the most was the constant up sells. Free to go in. You enter the building and when getting your map find out that everything except for shopping costs. The maze is extra. The gardens you pay to view. The train ride you pay to ride. You immediately are asked to...

We have visited the Dole Plantation on 3 separate occassions and the Maze was always the highlight. The train is cute but the Maze scores the points for fun!
Sweet treat! yes, with kids it is prob'ly more fun - especially the maze - but the colors, the "whodda thot" of the varieties -color and shape- of pineapple. The Dole whip fresh pineapple soft serve with fresh pineapple tidbtiis, the colors of the flowers, plants and trees, the free tasting of the fresh pineapple..... WOW! It was a amazing...

If you like pineapple - you'll be in heaven. Tons of options - pineapple-topped meals, pineapple juice, dole whips, pineapple floats, etc....

Rocky was quite knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. A must for the Dole Plantation is the soft serve pineapple ice cream! It was so fresh and had delicious pineapples on...

If you get a chance to stop here to or from the North Shore, it's a great place to spend and hour or two. We didn't go on any of the rides or maze because it was raining but inside there's lots of shopping and food. I don't think I'll ever have pineapple that tasted as goos as it did...

Stop by there as we did an island tour. The plantation provides an insight in the era in which Hawaii was a major grower and exporter of pineapple. Essentially, its an over commercialized tourist retail attraction as they could do much more in explaining Hawaii's pineapple era, to include possible a showing room and actual growing of production pineapple. However...
