We thought we would run in and see what the fuss was all about, it was like a Cracker Barrel store on steroids! Every imaginable gift-type thing in pineapple and then some, everything looked overpriced to me. We used the restrooms and they were very clean, and then we got out of there, it was very crowded! We did grab... More

It's a nice place to visit. Pretty scenery and very lush. They have a great gift shop, with just about everything in it. Great selection of foods and desserts (with pineapple, of course) to eat for lunch and plenty of photo opportunities. I didn't really find it fascinating, it just seemed like a bunch of plants, but the train ride... More

Tourist stop - but, you are already on Oahu - so why not. They have tours for $, but you can walk around, get photo ops, have something with pineapple to eat - take some pics - watch food demos and check out the spelling of your 'Hawaiian Name' and stick it on a bracelet if you like... Tours happen... More

Get a dole whip and run things and very over priced. Just the same old cons and sad garden tour. You will leave with great hast!

We only had a short stop-off with a tour; we wish we could have made it back to do more. The dole whip is a must and there are plenty of goodies to be picked up here from trinkets to food. For the kids, my daughter enjoyed being able to get a leather bracelet made with both her name and... More

Visited here with two kids. Did the 20 minute train ride. The parking and store are free. You pay for the maze, walk the garden or the train ride. Worth the stop on the way to the North Shore.

I agree with some of the other reviews...just stop in for the pineapple ice cream and move on to other things. The ice cream was amazing. However the other attractions, not so much. Just ho hum. The maze was interesting but lost interest after finding 4 of the 8. A lot of items / things just overpriced.

Plantation was a fun experience! We arrived and looked around and decided after the long car ride, it was time for a Dole Whip! It was amazingly yummy! We also got some fresh pineapple and it too was delicious and sweet. We then decided to take the train ride which was cute and fun to see what actual pineapple plants... More

Kind of cheesy (touristy), but a good time for a reasonable price. The pineapple whips are fantastic, if anything go to get one of those! They'd be great with a shot of rum in the sip cup! The garden was beautiful and the maze was a challenge in land navigation.

We arrived here late and only had time to do two things: 1) Catching the last Pineapple Express ($8.50), with only six passengers on board. It was a fully-narrated and scenic ride. 2) Enjoying the most delicious DoleWhip with fresh pineapples. Yum!!! I will be back!!! The maze is yet to be conquered...
