Did this hike on the last day of our trip. Took us 1.5 hr to get to the summit. We were never able to find the train that leads off to the waterfall. Apparently we missed it going up and going down. Oh well, the vistas were still beautiful. BE CAREFUL - I sprained my ankle coming down because I... More

Six of us plus a one year old started the hike around 11 in the morning. It was hot and humid. My wife, her daughter and son-in-law made it all the way to the top. Almost three hour up and down. The rest of us only went half way. I couldn't take the heat and humidity. The falls were not... More

The scenery is beautiful. Life guards and life jackets available free if you want to swim to the falls.

Super muddy...super long. Took us 2 1/2 hours of hiking up and almost 2 down...some quite difficult. Fun for the truly adventurous. We were newbies to hiking.

This is a great hike with amazing views. I tracked it on Endomumdo and round trip was 7.4 miles with a 1450 ft climb. The final climb down to the falls is a bit technical, but there are ropes on the trail. Bring water and enjoy!!!

Did this hike during the Memorial Day weekend. We started early (around 630a) so it wouldn't be so hot on the way up. The hike is about 7 miles round trip and it took us about 3 hours going up since we stopped to take tons of pictures and 2 hours going down. As someone mentioned earlier drive to the... More

The trail is easy to find and very navigable, even if you are wearing flip flops like I was (not recommended!). The falls are about 1.5 hours at an easy pace with moderate incline. Trip back is an hour. We didn't do the summit, just to the falls and back. It rained at the very end of our hike, which... More

Drive to the end of Poohaili Street. Park across from the guy who has signs saying to not steel his coconuts. Walk through the gate, down the road .4 miles, and the trailhead is on your left. Took us about 90min up and 60 back. We found the water to be a little cool. No mosquitoes. Take sunscreen, snacks, and... More
