In 2007 my husband and I got to enjoy the luau at the Polynsain Cultural Center. On our family trip this past December, we had reservation to the same. Due to the weather issues had to make other arrangements. So, having said that, while Germaine's had a good show, the food was not what we expected. There was not really... More

Perhaps we have just been spoiled by the luaus we have been to in the past (I would highly recommend the luau at the Grand Wailea on Maui), but this one was definitely just okay, especially given the price. We all agreed that the show was the highlight of the evening. The dancing was wonderful and the outfits worn by... More

Had a great night visiting at Germaine's and seeing the dancing (fire dancing included). Great crew at Germaine's were very funny and all the dancers were great. They get the crowd involved and everyone has a great time. Fun dances for both Men and Women to watch hahaha. Have fun!

read the reviews and went. Really enjoyed it. It was featured on Triple D. Germaine's should have some timeline photos showing how the pig is cooked from heating the rocks, putting heated rocks in pig, covering and uncovering. You really do eat the pork cooked right there. Too many people miss this fact. Tons of food. Not all do the... More

I really enjoyed this Luau. All of the local folks we talked to recommended this one. They will pick you up at several locations with entertaining guides. Greg was our guide and he was so entertaining and informative while you make your way to and from the destination. They also give the most free alcoholic drinks (3 per person) than... More

Went to the Luau last night expecting it to be grand and left fairly dissapointed. If you timed the actual real dancing and cultural aspects of the show it would be lucky to be 40 minutes, they fill in the rest of the time with rubbish that I didn't want to see for my 90 bucks, crowd members and bus... Everything was great except the location being so close to a garbage disposal plant that the smell wafted throughout the night. If you can get past this the drinks were strong, the food and atmosphere were wonderful and the show was nice.

This attraction was just what we expected given the reviews read prior to our visit. Our two young boys, 2- and 4-years old, enjoyed the food and dancing. They were a bit of a handful when they played with the sand and tried to run off. I think older kids, 6+ would be more appropriate. My four year old went... More

Germaine's Luau is the most economically priced. The food is great, the entertainment is exciting. The only problem "I" had was due to my own shortsightedness. Upon arriving at the luau we were instructed to choose our own seats. I had plenty of time to find a seat close to the stage. But since I was alone and had already... More

Germaine's Luau was one of the highlights of a Hawaiian Cruise we did 2 years ago, so our young adult children requested we go again on a recent trip. I booked our reservation through hawaiidiscount.com which gives a significant discount. I always worry about returning to the cruise ship on time, but the luau ends about 8:45 and we returned...
