We showed up at 4pm (had a hire car for the day & were running late from earlier stops) and were told the last tour left at 3pm - damn! In hindsight, we definitely should've looked into that. Apparently there are only 3 tours per day so keep that in mind. So, my review is based only on the shop.... More

as you come into the nut farm into the gift shop, you can sample all the various kinds of macadamia nuts and as often you like for free. the 8 oz. bags are fairly expensive (around $9). they even have jams, syrup, candies, etc. you can even sample kona hawaiian coffee for free as well. we went on the tropical... The tour was fun and worthwhile. My 79 year old mother and I spent a recent afternoon here and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The guides were informative and their sense of humor had everyone in our group laughing. My mom uses a walker and the guides were extremely helpful getting her into and out of the tour bus and boat.... More

you must have the proper pressure which I learned from cracking a couple of them. We bought the Pineapple Snow here and it was our favorite pineapple-flavored white chocolate with macadamia. It was also great hanging around, tasting the different flavors of nuts and the kona coffee.

This Macadamia Nut farm was a very interesting stop, as the kids were able to pick and crack their own macadamias with rocks. They had the best array of flavored macadamias and all with samples. Enjoyed the coffee coated ones the best.

Okay so that is not the catchiest title but seriously there is the best selection of macadamian nuts. They are a bit on the expensive side but hard not to buy once you try all of the samples available!

Went to the nut farm yesterday and enjoyed it so much I would buy a ticket and go again. The tour guide was a hoot. He was informative and just plain fun. Enjoyed the demonstrations of fire making, the fire dancing, coconut sampling, nut sampling, and coffee sampling. The boat ride along with info about this body of water and... More

The tour was recommended by a (formerly) local friend, and it was a great suggestion! I wasn't expecting it to be as good and varied as it was. The shop itself is nice — lots of souvenir items and macadamia nuts of many flavors, with samples of each one. They also offer samples of coffee. Prices on the nuts were... More

Had read this was a tour bus trap which is what it was. The only good thing about it was that they give you lots of free tastes of the macadamia nuts and they are delicious but expensive US$10 for a pack. The staff were unhelpful and very unlike the other friendly Hawaiians we met on the rest of our... More

Kids love seeing the wild chickens and cracking their own macadamia nuts! Everyone is so friendly makes me want to bring the fam back to this place!
