A great place to stop by if you love macadamia nuts! My family and I stopped by this place after spending the morning at Kualoa Ranch which is right down the road. We loved this place! They have a tour of the farm, tons of macadamia nuts in every possible flavor, coffee, and a little shop right beside that sells... More

We loved the tour. Our guide was very funny and the tour was very informative. You ride on a short bus, stop to see a demonstration on starting a fire and then go on a short boat ride. The scenery is beautiful and the tour is the cheapest around. The tour is a must do while at the north shore.... More

Three of us took the 1.5 tour. We thought our guide was hilarious (and handsome in his traditional dress). He was a bit corny, but I liked it! On the tour, I enjoyed seeing the native plants and trees and learning about their traditional uses. The fire dancing demonstration rankeds as my favorite part. My cousin loved seeing the set... The scenery here is really beautiful. Lots of samples in the store and many unique gift items here. The coffee is fantastic and they info for the Polynesian culture center and Kualoa Ranch. It's a nice little quick pit stop while traveling up the north shore!

Traveling with my husband and two teens often means that we need to compromise when deciding how to spend our time. This was one activity which was hands down a hit with everyone. Tama was the main guide, combining information about the plant life on the farm with demonstrations of some traditional Polynesian practices, from the uses of the coconut... More

On the highway 83 between Kaneohe and the North Shore you come to the Tropical Farms Macadamia Nut Farm just south of Kualoa Park. We did not go on the tour, but spent time shopping around. They have a good selection of coffee, lotions, and macadamian nuts. The free samples get you going. Nice place to stretch your legs.
