Our family of 3 was paired with another small group of 4 sisters for the beginner tour out to flat island. Since no one in our group was really a beginner, our guide took the opportunity to give us more paddling time and showed us more of the area. After returning, we opted to eat our lunch at the 2... We were going to simply rent kayaks and explore on our own, but as first time ocean kayakers, we made the right decision to use a guide. Our guide, Laura, she was fantastic, and really made the experience special. Will definitely do this again on a future trip!

My fiance and I tried the kayaking tour during our visit to Honolulu. It was a great way to get out of the touristy areas and experience the beauty of less visited beaches. The day was an amazing mix of exploring, being active, and enjoying the beauty of the ocean and islands. The trip included a mix of teaching and... More

Our 4 hour kayak tour with Kailu and Jon was a highlight of our visit to Oahu. Our guides were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was impressed on how Jon was able to help members of our party manage to get to the destination and I was impressed with Kailu's knowledge about the island and it's history. Both were very... More

The two hour guided tour was great. Sarah was very knowledgeable of marine life and folkloric stories. She answered just about any question and gave a great "how to" for first time kayak riders. I have kayaked before and I still learned a few things. If you have never kayaked before this is a great start!! Advanced riders can probably... More

Great and experienced guides run you through an enjoyable afternoon of kayaking on Hawaii's beautiful East coast. Very well run establishment that led to a fun day on the water with my kids.

I rented a stand up paddle board for five days from Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks. The staff including Mark and Bailey were really helpful in making sure I had the right equipment for me. They also gave me tips on how to use the board in ocean waves and where to paddle in Kailua Bay. I really recommend anyone interested... More

Walk to beach was a bit long but not bad with rolling carts! We rented bikes and kayaked on our own.

Our 5 hour kayak trip out to the Mokulua islands was fantastic! Our guide Andy was brilliant and very knowledgable. Although we were the only two people on the tour, Andy made us feel very comfortable and showed us some amazing things including the 'queen's spa' pool. We had a great trip and would definetly recommend Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks... More

I enjoyed the kayaking and touring the island. Andy is very knowledgeable and conscientious. We learned a lot about the geology and ecology of the islands - a bonus!
