Home to the rich and beautiful people. I love this beach and make sure to hit it each time I'm back over in Kaneohe Bay. Love the location and the islands out front. If your lucky you can spot a turtle or a rainbow.

Beautiful, calm waters. We stay in this neighborhood when we visit Hawaii because of this beach. It is crowded in the afternoons at times and sometimes dogs are a big problem. Go early and enjoy the beautiful waters. Kayaking, snorkeling or paddle boarding are easy to do here. Parking can be a challenge. Just make sure you don't block anyone's... More

Visited this beach and fell in love with it. You have to park in a residential area, we didn't have any trouble finding a spot. The sand is super soft. There are two islands off the coast. Looks like a lot of kayakers and SUPs head out towards the islands. Only down side is there are no restrooms or food... More

The room was nice and quiet! A short walk to the beautiful Lanikai Beach. Mary and Gary were very helpful and keep the place really nice! Kailua is gorgeous and we loved it. Can't wait to go back! ☆☆☆☆☆

We love the beach, it is beautiful. We would go there every time we're in Oahu. However, people starts taking the dogs to the beach, letting the dogs swim in the water.... We have a dog and we love dogs, but to swim in the water with the dogs in it is not our thing. We would rate high for... More

I absolutely loved Lanikai Beach and would highly recommend it for anyone going to Oahu! I found that Waikiki Beach was full of people and nowhere near as beautiful. Lanikai was definitely still busy, but even on a Saturday there was room to move. The view was spectacular

I just read in Trip Advisor that Lanakai Beach was the number one beach in the U.S.. Since we're on Oahu for a business/vacation trip. We decided to go check this beach out for ourself. Don't think we could have found it without our GPS. Parking is difficult. But we lucked out as a couple was leaving from right across... More

My husband and I considered this our favorite beach that we visited on our recent trip to Hawaii (May 2014). The water was beautiful and not rough at all and the sand was super soft. I didn't even feel any broken shells or stones in the water at all. I think this beach is far more beautiful and enjoyable than... More

We visited Lanikai Beach during a day trip around the island. I MADE SURE we visited here as I'd heard how nice it was, and it wasn't as busy as Waikiki beach. It really was a beautiful beach, so nice and calm, only a few families and what I'd assume were locals were there. I wish we had a car... More

This is the best beach on Oahu, in my opinion. It came highly recommended and exceeded the expectations by leaps and bounds. Lanikai is the beach that belongs in postcards, calendars and coffee table books. Gorgeous, soft, white sand and crystal clear turquoise waters. Perfect location for snorkeling, watching turtles, and just enjoying the sun and surf. The waves were... More
