This has to be by far my favorite beach on Oahu. The sand is so soft, so white, the water is so warm and inviting. I can sit or swim or lay out here all day. A little hard to find but once you do and you walk to the water you'll know why Hawaii is called "Paradise". Bring an... More

We again had an excellent stay at Steps To The Beach. The most beautiful beach ever. Location , location , location !!! Boogey boarding is the best, sunrises a must, coffee at Kalapawaii market perfect.

Compared to Kailua Beach, Lanikai more quiet. It has a great view and soft white sand. It's filled with plenty of people trying to get epic facebook profile pictures.

Both and my children and I were stung by jellyfish at this beach. Very painful experience. There also is no shade on this beach. Kailua is much better.

Probably one of the best beaches I have ever been to in my life. We were so impressed that we came back in June 2014 to Hawaii just to spend some time on this beach again. Would highly recommend

Trash on the beach, no parking and angry residents. Don't go. What is there no parking. I got a parking ticket and I saw a lot of other visitors with 40$ tickets.

Came swimming at Lanikai first thing in the morning and had a great experience. There is no "official" parking place to get here so you have to try to find street parking, which is often a challenge. We went very early in the morning and found parking in front of a vacant lot which I was more comfortable doing than... More

It is truly one of the best beaches in the world. My family and I decided to check this beach out while we were on vacation in Waikiki. It is less busy than Waikiki beach and very fine sand. You have to be prepared though, as there are no amenities available for food and drinks. Also, bring some hats or... More

Home to the rich and beautiful people. I love this beach and make sure to hit it each time I'm back over in Kaneohe Bay. Love the location and the islands out front. If your lucky you can spot a turtle or a rainbow.

Beautiful, calm waters. We stay in this neighborhood when we visit Hawaii because of this beach. It is crowded in the afternoons at times and sometimes dogs are a big problem. Go early and enjoy the beautiful waters. Kayaking, snorkeling or paddle boarding are easy to do here. Parking can be a challenge. Just make sure you don't block anyone's... More
