This beach is off a residential area so be mindful of where you are parking and obey the parking signs. There are a few beach entrances off the main road, won't have to walk far to find one. Once on the beach the view is amazing. The sand is soft. The water is warm. And you can even do some... More

I guess along with every type of review everything depends on the day you either attended a beach, ate at a restaurant or stayed at a hotel. I can only review how my "day" was. Lanikai Beach was simply amazing. I found it thru all the wonderful reviews on Trip Advisor and other top beach ranking sites. As others have... More

Personally something you may want to reconsider. Kailua once was a beautiful sleepy town but it isn't anymore. Lanikai beach is now overrun, there are no restrooms ANYWHERE so people are pooping and peeing in the bushes. Dog poop left in the sand. Drunken fights. It feels like you are on Miami beach. If you like that kinda thing this... More

This once secluded, relaxing, scenic, wonderful beach has been overrun with children and other tourists as well as locals. Young people drinking without regard for others on the beach. Throwing trash on the sand. It won't be long before it will no longer be a popular beach. I'm glad I had the opportunity to enjoy it before it became the... More

So many people, but no restrooms. A beautiful setting being overrun with too many people and no facilities.

What used to be a great beach is degrading terribly. At one time relaxing and beautiful, the over crowding of beach goers, brawls, drinking(which is illegal, but ignored), no public facilities has made this beach with little to recommend it. After reading some of your rave reviews I decided to try it again, and unfortunately it was on Labor Day... More

I've been here on bad weather days when only I am on the beach and I've been here on holidays when EVERYONE windward is on the beach and you know what? Equally great regardless. Sand: Soft Coral: Plenty of fish. Water: More clear than I would expect on such a popular beach. The only down side can be parking, but... More

about 10min from Kailua beach on foot. There is no parking lot so you should park at Kailua beach park. But parking isn't big so you might not park soon. It's a beautiful white beach but of course no shower and no restrooms.

The most idyllic Hawaiian beach on Oahu. Beautiful sand, water and trees. Not many tourists. Lots of room.

One of the most gorgeous beaches you would come across. Pleasant waters. Unfortunately, beach access is limited and facilities are non existent. If you go on a popular day (long weekends), you might be put off by the local teenage trashy crowd. We even noticed public fornication on our way through the beach access besides local residences. But the beach... More
