On various visits, we have been to almost every beach on the island - this one gets our vote for overall best. The sand is powdered-sugar white, the water a postcard-blue turquoise, and the snorkeling is great. Swimming out, we saw all many of tropical fish, turtles, and beautiful coral. The beach can feel a little crowded - it is... More

Most beautiful waters - like walking on plush carpet on the sands of the bottom of this ocean. No public restrooms, chairs or public parking. If you can manage to find a spot to park, there are public walkways to the beach. Bring some snacks and a chair.....enjoy this beach. It's gorgeous!

This beach is accessible through a neighborhood walkway that is marked but not necessarily easy to see as you're driving along. But it is worth the effort. There are nearby little islands one of which also has a beautiful beach on it, which we were told you could rent kayaks or sailboards to get out to. We were told by... More

This is such a gorgeous beach! There is hardly any waves and hardly any wind so it's great for wanting to swim and snorkel. There is some great reef near the shore at some parts for snorkeling. we saw a ton of tropical fish and even a couple turtles about 15 yards from the shore. If you go to Oahu... More

I almost don't want to write this review becuase I love this beach so much and don't want to share it. :) The sand is so fine and white, and the water is blue and beautiful. I could stay here all day everyday and never tire. If you are looking for a perfect island beach, this is it.

I love lanikai beach. In the early mornings there isn't really many people there, it really was a blessing for this gorgeous beach to be a bit secluded and not as crazily busy as Waikiki. The sand is soft as pillows. Visited here daily on our trip.

What can I say. This is the most beautiful beach on the island. The sand is as fine as powder. The water was as warm as bath water and the view was amazing. The color of the water against the blue sky is almost unreal. You can not only swin, but ou can kayak, snorkle and paddle board. Great place... More

This place is SO beautiful. Its a far cry from busy Waikiki Beach. You park on the street in the surrounding neighborhood and walk down one of the paths to the beach. No public facilities so go before you get there! Its breezy here and peaceful and I highly recommend this as a must see while staying on Oahu.

The beach is so spectacular. We kayaked from this beach to the Moku Nui island. Would recommend going to this beach.

My all time favorite beach, especially at low tide away from the more public areas. Soft white sand, calm waters, turtles swimming by ...
