This is my favorite beach in Oahu. The sand is soft and the water is so clear. It's the perfect beach to go wind surfing. Also there are great waves that are really fun. I recommend this beach to everyone. more

Found this beach to be perfect for swimming. The water is quite calm and very clear. The scenery is very beautiful - the mountains and small island in the distance make for stunning views. Kailua beach has got to be the nicest beach on Oahu. While we were there we rented kayaks and went out to the little islands just off shore. We loved the Kailua beach. The beach is a short drive ( about 30 minutes) away from Waikiki, but that makes it less crowded.
