One of my fondest memories while visiting Hawaii for 10 days was our decision for us 4 girls to ride horses. Our guide leader took us through all kinds of scenic grounds, the jungle, the beach, absolutely incredible. Will be taking another trip if I am so blessed to return to Turtle Bay.

This is our second time back at the ranch. The guides have been excellent, and the ride along the beach and forest is relaxing and fun. They take you by a large banyan tree that has been used in several TV shows, such as Lost, and by an old WWII pillbox bunker. Highly recommend.

I don't like riding horses. I chalk it up to a terrifying experience in nursery school where I fell off a mini horse. Regardless, I had a friend visiting me and she wanted to ride on the beach, so I took her there. The ride was amazing! I lost my car keys in the sand on the ride, and Lionel... More

We went in December , but received an email recently that they moved to another Island. Too bad, it was great.

Planning a trip to Oahu and this sounded great but called the numbers on the website and was informed that they were no longer in business because they had lost their lease and they had moved to the Big Island.

My daughter (11) and I visited HI in August 2012. Riding a horse on a beach topped our list of must do's and was the determining factor on where we would visit. I found Kahuku-Kai on the interent and from the first sight I knew we were in for a great time. I'm an experience rider, my daughter is not... More

They are apparently "making changes" - not sure what that means but I was unable to book a ride on my honeymoon in February 2013. They were very nice and referred me to a private individual that does beach rides for $75/hour. I haven't decided if I'll try that or not.

Beautiful horses, not your typical trail ride. The day we booked Linda had a cancellation so it was just the two of us going out with Linda to guide us. As we don't ride often an hour was sufficient for us. We rented a car and did the ride as part of our around the island tour. Linda gets you... More

We had an amazing experience with Linda and her horses. The horses were amazing and so friendly. The ride along the beach was beautiful. When I say "ride" I mean a full sprint during portions of the ride. It was scary, fantastic, awesome, amazing....there aren't enough adjectives to describe the experience. These horses aren't your typical slow paced trail horses... More
