Outstanding experience. Beautiful horses that were responsive and fun to ride for both experienced riders and novices. The horses were well cared for and clearly happy living at Turtle Bay - who wouldn't be! The trail ride is along one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, so don't miss this experience.

The ride was fun and educational, horses were friendly and well behaved. Excellent for kids, first time riders as well as experienced riders.

We visited the horse riding at turtle bay on Saturday 26/07/14. Initial thoughts were the staff were friendly and stables clean. We asked on the phone when booking if experience was needed and were told no. Basic instructions were given to go forward backwards left and right with the horse. We were told not to let them eat grass .... More

My seven year old daughter and I loved horseback riding on the beach but felt sorry for the horses once we saw their saddles removed and the huge permanent saddle indent they all had on their backs. Maybe they are rode too often? I don't know much about horses, so I don't know if the horses actually like people riding... More

Unforgettable experience! Booked 2 days before the ride (evening ride) and was shocked that it was just myself and my two children along on the ride as they tend to fill up and have large groups. It was perfect! A private ride without private prices! The guide was wonderful, although I can't recall her name, I know she was from... More

You have a choice of places to ride and I'd recommend Turtle Bay. Fantastic leisurely ride fit for novice and intermediate riders. The ride up the coastline of Turtle Bay's huge 800+ acre resort is amazing. The guides even point out a sweet place to snorkel. There aren't many fish close to shore but if you go out a little... My group of five (ages 18-29, two who had never ridden before) had a wonderful time. Our guides, Kylie and Carlos, were super-friendly and helpful without being condescending--which we have found in some guides on other tours. They shared information about the sights (and told us every time we hit a movie-filming locale, which was neat!) and were happy to... More

Our ride at Turtle Bay Stables was very relaxing, the guides were extremely friendly and helpful. We loved our "Aussie" guide she was a hoot ! With us both being experienced riders it was nice to sit back and relax on "push button" horses, if we had our children with us we would have been very comfortable taking them on... More
