Great little beach park. Very quiet and clean. Nice facilities. White sand. A great place to bring a family. Waves were not too big. Did not seem to be a big current on that day. Always be careful.

We stayed in a home across from this beach. On the days we were staying around our home, we took advantage of walking just across the two lane road to have fun in the ocean. The sand at this park was coarse and narrow but it was plentiful for our needs. For hours on multiple days, we were the only... More

Dat's my BEACH. Risking more tourists than we really like to have to share our sacred spot, it is worth it to see the joy and excitement of the kids as they play and splash at "Alligtor". Summer is the best and our winter even better cuz the kids are in school and the beach is naked most of the... More

Nice park with change rooms/washrooms. Lots of parking. Fabulous long sandy beach. Reef area at south end is great for snorkelling. Very quiet especially during the weekdays.

We visited in December with three small children and four adults; everyone loved this beach. There is plenty of parking and a nice grassy park to run around away from the sand. The best snorkeling close to shore is in between a) the spot where the small wall that separates the grassy lawn ends and b) the point of land... More

Best beach for kids. Teens will enjoy body boarding. Locals enjoy walking along the beach. When the waves are too large at Sunset, surfers paddle out and take on the waves here. Nice place for camping with family or large groups. Pretty expensive to get a group permit.

Came to Kokololio Beach Park (Pounders) on Father's Day with the kids looking to just jump in the water, cool off from the summer sun, and have some fun. We ended up having a blast. We're a local family from Hawaii Kai and are used to seeing our favorite spots like the Sandy Beach area, Makapuu, Bellow's Beach, and Kailua... More

I love Kokololio and the reason why I love it, is because mainly locals come to this beach. It is clean, beautiful, and my favorite. Please if you visit, keep it clean! Also, respect the people and animals living at the end of the beach.

Kokololio Beach Park - it doesn't get any better than this! Plenty of off-street parking, huge lawn, bathrooms & showers, picnic tables.....long, long stretch of powdery sand....some reef where hubby can fish and other areas of sand bottom for a ways out for perfect swimming or playing in the waves and lots of shade right on the sand. Best part...during... More
