We got sick of the crowds at Waikiki so we took a trip on the surf bus to the north shore for the day. great experience. I happened on it by chance. Both Diamond Head and Hanauma Bay were closed (it was a Tuesday.) The expedia lady at my hotel suggested a bus. It turned out to be a real fantastic day.
