We went out on the early morning tour at 6:30am. The water wasn't bad. I had heard all these reviews about rough sea and motion sickness but it was ok. My wife and I medicated ourselves just to be safe and we were both fine. We were in the second group and I really enjoyed both parts. Seeing the sharks... More

We went out first things in the morning. It was an easy ride to the cage. Guys gave us good instruction. We only saw one shark but it was worth it.

We had a good experience on this tour. I was worried that I would not have the strength to climb in and out of the cage as it was so choppy in the water and I was a bit apprehensive also. However the crew reassured me and I went in the cage. I am glad I did. The crew is... More

This was our first time swimming with sharks. The crew did a fantastic job educating us about and getting us a close encounter with these majestic creatures of the deep. It was a wonderful experience that we won't forget. Now that I have done this I'm interested in cage diving with great whites someday. One small suggestion for improvement: It... More

A lot of fun and a good crew on the boat. All you do is climb in the cage and watch 5 to 6 foot sharks swim by the cage. Very easy, no mess, no fuss. This was our second time and we would do it again...and it is an excuse to spend the day on the North Shore, as... More

Deck hands first day on the trip. Not impressed at all. If I had paid full price I truly would have been disappointed.

We enjoyed a great trip with Hawaii Shark Encounters at the end of our honeymoon. The knowledgeable guides obviously care very deeply about the sharks and their environment and they helped us to understand the difference between fearing and respecting this great creatures. We took a 10:30 tour with a short ride out to the cage. There were 12 in... More

Outstanding boat and crew. Extremely helpful. They limit the people on the boat so you get extra time in the water and with the sharks. If you go with a larger boat then you need to take turns in the cage. More people - less sharks. Don't go anywhere else.

Great experience on the boat, with fun and friendly crew. They were early on arrival and had no problem taking us out immediately onto the water. The group we had was small (6) so they were happy to allow us double the time in the cage which was great. Getting motion sick easily didn't put me off, I pushed through... More
