My boyfriend and I went to a 9oclock session. We had Phillip as our guide. He was full of information and even stopped the boat so we could see some humpback whales! The water that day was incredible. We could see 150ft away underwater. We only saw galapogas sharks. Would have loved to seen the other species but that's no... More

Let me preface the review by stating that we were called the day before the event and asked to change to a later time because there was not enough to go at the time we had planned. However, the shark diving was absolutely incredible. You pull up to a spot in the open ocean and can immediately see shark silhouettes.... More

We can not say enough about Hawaii Shark Encounters! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the boat, the crew was great! They were knowledgeable and made sure we were all safe and enjoying our time. They were great with my 5yr old daughter! We were able to see lots of sharks swimming around, as well as... More

this was a lot of fun but in the end we only saw one shark-i guess it was a off day because my friend did it and has pictures of 5-6 sharks around the cage. exciting to see only one as well.

I did the shark cage snorkel trip when I was in O'ahu and it was awesome! I got to be up close and personal with some big, beautiful sharks from the safety of a cage. It sounds a little scary, but once you get in the cage and see these awesome creatures, all fear dissipates. It was also interesting to... More

Simply amazing! The crew made the whole trip, they were fun and upbeat and truly seemed interested in every participant. Once in the cage it was simply incredible to see these magnificent sharks swimming around you in their own environment, a rare chance for humans to be the ones in the cage while the sharks swim free. I can't say... More

This was cool to do once, but we wouldn't do it again. The boat was nearly an hour late to get us. Plenty of sharks to see, but you can see them just as good at an aquarium. One of the sharks had been hooked by a fishing pole and was dragging it around behind him, so that was a... More

These guys guarantee shark sightings on their trips, and we saw many in our experience. They were very friendly and shared lots of shark knowledge on the boat rides in and out. Would definitely recommend.

For starters the staff was great and so easy to interact with making me feel very comfortable. Extremely knowledgeable answering any and all questions making me feel safe the whole time. The experience of swimming with sharks in their brand new cage was second to none and a great thrill. There were so many sharks swimming all around us providing... More
