If you love sharks and never seen one outside of the aquarium, this is a good start! I really want to go cage diving with great whites so this was a good first step. Make sure to go in the first group so you have time to dry off and relax before heading back. Glad we went first because a... More

We are going to Hawaii for our honeymoon and the one thing that we want to do is swim with the sharks. We found Hawaii Shark Encounters online and after looking over the website and reading reviews... it seemed great and we submitted a reservation request online right away! A email response came back saying that someone would get back... More

I did the 8:30 shark tour and the water was pretty rough the day I went. I have never been sea sick before but was feeling it this morning. I was a little dissapointed in only seeing 5-6 sharks was hoping to see more. They do not chum the waters which I thought they did. The two guide were very... More

Overall the excursion was OK. We saw two, maybe three, sharks when we got out into the cage. A few people were sick (puking over the side of the boat) so be sure to take your sea-sickness pills before hand! When we arrived the two guys hosting the day were sitting on the boat basically ignoring the group of us... More

We did our shark encounter at 12:30, the water was pretty choppy. I would strongly recommend taking gravol or something for motion sickness, even if you usually are not prone to be sea sick. My boyfriend and two others on our boat were VERY sea sick, and it takes away from the amazing experience. Cole was great, very informative and... More

I can sum up this review in one word...WOW! We drove out to Haleiwa super early in the morning in order to arrive on time for the first tour (was told that the water would be the calmest then). Apparently nobody told Mother Nature that. The water was extremely choppy. One of the other couples on the boat got ill... More

A terrific adventure for anyone comfortable on the water. DEFINITELY get the video - especially if you have kids along- lots of amazing memories and bragging rights too. I'd suggest Dramamine before leaving your hotel just in case it's really choppy out by the shark cage... the only downside we had was Mom's queasiness after the cage. Professional and fun... More

We definitely had fun! Just a caution, if you’re driving from Waikiki, do not underestimate the time to get there (esp. for the 6:30am tour). We left around 5:30 thinking that there won’t be any traffic but we were sadly mistaken. (For some reason, it just seems like people drive slower in Hawaii …or maybe it’s because we’re always rushing!).... More

My husband and i did this tour last year and it was amazing!! Ride out was a little rough but was better once in the water. We had a god dozen sharks around the cage in minutes. They were well behaved and just went around and around looking at you..very cool. When they chumed the water they all started thrashing... More

Went with wife and 7yr old daughter. My daughter had a blast. First, Google navigation took me a dilapilated building so use the directions on their website instead. There is only a small board by the docks which is difficult to see from the road. Second, do not eat a full breakfast, because it may end up in the ocean.... More
