Got lucky with the weather and the ride out to the cage was nice, seas not too rough. Got to be in the cage for a long time and see three different species of shark. we were really lucky to see a tiger shark. Big guy just cruising around the boat. Really cool to see sharks up so close. The... More

Very nice trip. Took my 10 year old daughter and she loved it. The crew are very safe and helpful. Would recommend this. Also good for bird watchers.

After a 1hour drive from Honolulu, we arrived at the historic Hawaii township of Haleiwa on the north shore of Oahu. We booked in at the "Shark Hut" in the boat harbour and at the appointed time we mounted the boat and travelled about 30 minutes to a moored cage about 6km (3Mi) from shore. We entered the floating cage... More

Amazing! My sister and I didn't even know how to use snorkels and they walked us through it all and made it so easy and comfortable! Amazing service and amazing experience! Saw plenty of sharks! And if you don't see any, they will give your money back. Def recommend!!

Highlight of our holiday. Enthusiastic and knowledgable guides, who were local boys. You have 20 minutes in the cage and 20 minutes on the boat while the other group are in the cage, during this time the guides tell you all about the sharks and answer any questions. Coming from the UK, it was hard to imagine that you are... More

My family and I went out with this company and saw 8-10 sharks swim around us for over a half an hour. It was amazing!! The crew was sooo nice and knowledgable, learned a lot about sharks from them. Such an amazing experience :)

This place is such a scam the owner would not reimburse money like they guaranteed if we didn't get to see sharks. We went to this business hoping to see sharks but they wouldn't let us into the cage since its really high wind that day, fine I get its for safety reasons. But we opt-out to go on the... More

Worst experience ever water conditions were terrible they shouldn't have taken us out to begin with but whatever we get there and the captain was great but I saw now sharks at all nothing nada So I remembered they had a shark guarantee or your money back so I email them and they wouldn't reimburse me saying if I wanted... Decided to do this despite not knowing what to expect. This was the most amazing experience of my life. Worth the money and then some (I lucked out and found a Groupon for 40.00 less). Beautiful trip out to the location. Once there they give you a brief intro and explain the do's and dont's. The only slightly tricky part... More

This was a major highlight of our vacation. Right now you're asking yourself, 'Swimming with sharks?' Of course you should do this. It was a once in a lifetime experience for us. 'But which company should I use?' Hawaii Shark Encounters, for sure. The other company cancelled all their tours on the day that we went, but HSE took us... More
