Bought a groupon for myself and step-daughter and it was a great experience. Vanessa (the instructor) exudes fun and island aloha. A total of 5 students met at Jameson's in Haleiwa and proceeded to drive to turtle beach where we stopped for a few minutes to take pics of the turtles, which sunbathe on the beach. But Vanessa was an AWESOME teacher and i actually got it down in one lesson! I was able to catch the waves and surf all the way to the shore :) Definitely the best surf school in hawaii... They take care of everything and keep you safe!

Best time ever. I think I found my new favorite thing to do! I can't wait to go home to California and try everything Vanessa taught me.

I came to Hawaii thinking a was never going to really learn to surf. But when I met Vanessa she made it all seem so easy. With her helpful guidance I was catching the waves I always dreamed of. I give Jetty betty surf school 2 thumbs up.
