Great snorkeling past the jumping rock. Jump rock looks great but feeling a bit too old. More

This beach was so beautiful! Water was clear and very calm, it was like a swimming pool, but its not like that year around. It also wasn't nearly as crowded as Waikiki. We got there at 11am and there was still parking in the parking lot but by the time we left about 2 hours later there was no parking... More

We viewed the bay from the beach and from the state park which overlooks the bay...awesome! Take your time on the North Shore and really enjoy it! More

Most fun I've had swimming in my life. Was in the water for 2 hours straight getting pummelled by waves. Probably not for everyone, but if you like waves this is as good as it gets! More

In past years we've driven by this gorgeous beach and wished we had stopped to enjoy it. A lovely crescent of golden sand and turqoise water, with mild wave action. Bring a lunch because you'll want to stay. More

Wonderous yes, easily accessible...not so much. There is a rather small parking area off Kamehameha Highway, though you will be hard pressed to find an empty space. Your best bet is to park along the street, wherever possible and walk to the bay entrance. That being said, it is certainly worth the walk. It's crescent-shaped beach and idyllic setting makes... It was not too crowded, and the waves were prefect for body surfing/ boogie boarding. There are showers, and restrooms. There are life guards there as well, but in my opinion, they are rarely seen. Their station is placed a ways back from the water, and would they woudln't be the first people to help you, if you got into... More

Waimea Bay is amazing beach. My fiancee and I had to park on the side of the road but the views walking down the road over looking the bay. The water was amazing not to hot not to cold. And the waves were nice every once in a while you would get a big one that would come through. We... More
