My buddy and I decided we should take a surfing lesson. Being fairly fit for guys in their mid-60's, we inquired about the cost. Learning Vi was to be our instructor (a very attractive 20-something young lady), we decided to go for it. After the two hour lesson, we agreed we wish we were a lot younger! Vi helped us... More

I can't say enough about our fabulous experience with Uncle Bryan's. My 6 year old son was begging to try surfing for the first time while in Hawaii. We saw Uncle Bryan's van and stopped to inquire. They were able to fit us in that day--and my 6 year old son and 5 year old daughter had the best afternoon.... More

We had a private lesson for our family of four and we had a good time but felt sick waiting to go out and catch a wave. Had the instructors divided and did two & two it would have made it ten times better. People nice & beach beautiful.

Our good luck crossed paths with this multi generational family run surf school. On the busiest weekend of the year, the whole crew had worked more than 8 hours and were packing up to go home to their families when my daughter walked up and asked about taking a lesson. They were tired, from a long day in the surf... More

Absolutely wonderful. We had actually booked with another outfit but didn't like their cancellation window, which wouldn't have allowed for bad weather, etc. Bryan's was more flexible. We were surprised with a huge surfing event blocking our road to get to our lesson with Uncle Bryan's, and ended up arriving a couple minutes late (our fault) but Uncle Bryan himself... More
