The team at Uncle Bryan's Sunset Surratt Surf School was top notch. They were patient and good at giving instructions for all ages. Both my wife and I were able to catch our first wave our first try... And we are over 50 years old. Throughout the afternoon our instructor assisted us and made sure we were able to catch... More

I had the pleasure to hang out with Uncle Bryan's crew before Christmas last year. I had 4 different sessions, 4 different weather and 4 different ways to have fun! Alex and Marcus are incredible instructors and very knowledgable. Most importantly, they have a passion for Surfing which they are eager to share with you. I'm looking forward to hanging... More

I took a lesson with Cru. It was great. Long, rolling waves, nice location, turtles right there on the beach. I'm 43, take a lesson every time I go to Hawaii, Mexico, or Southern Cal, but I suck. The instructor was patient, and it's much easier getting up on those long rollers than on the short breaks you would get... More

We met Bryan upon arrival. Super nice guy and very dedicated to giving an awesome first experience to people spending time and money to try out surfing. He is definitely in this game for the right reasons! We completely enjoyed the experience, our instructor was Bobby, and he was very patient and encouraging. The photographer (Greg) was also a great... More

Mike, our surf instructor, was fantastic. He clearly and simply explained everything we needed to know to get started surfing. We were out on our boards, with Mike at our side, surfing the waves faster than we could have imagined. FYI, we are in our early fifties, so not spring chickens. It's a place for all ages. There were kids... More

As a first time Hawaii visitor and all the surf warnings on the North Shore, we thought a trip to Wakiki would be required for surf lessons. Surprised and amazed at the chance to learn on the north shore instead. Conner had us up on the first wave and was an awesome instructor! Don't pass this school up if you... More

I went to Uncle Bryan's Surf School with a group of classmates on our very first day in the Hawaiian islands. Coming from Minnesota, I have never surfed before and I am not super comfortable in the ocean. The team at Uncle Bryan's is made up of extremely talented surfers with welcoming and comforting attitudes - I knew I was... More

I had my ever first surfing experience with Uncle Bryan's surf school, which is amazing. They are super nice and easygoing. They always made sure I was safe when I was surfing and in the water. I was able to stand up my second time! Definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to learn surfing!!!

I recently visited Oahu and decided to try surfing for the very first time. I was very hesitant because I am not the most comfortable person in the water. My instructor was Kalani and he was extremely helpful, friendly, and made me feel 100% safe in the water. I stood up my very first time! The whole experience was great... More

I went Uncle Bryan's in January with such as big group, they have enough coaches to teach us at same time. The coaches are really easy going and shows us the Hawaii hospitality. If you want to surfing, you should definitely go to Uncle Bryan's Sunset Suratt Surf School.
