Seriously the best shaved Ice ever, and I am not just saying this because my Husband knows the owner. Every time we come back to the island we have to make a stop at the General Store. I would suggest getting ice cream topped with shaved Ice. No matter what you do, you can't go wrong. Everything is homemade!

All we had here was shaved ice. It was shaved ice beyond anything I have ever experienced. To say delicious does not do it justice. Our shaved ice was prepared by Christina to our specifications, and the final product was not only beautiful to behold, but truly a treat for the taste buds. It cost about $5.00, but would be... The very famous shave ice place down the road serves a very good "kiddie" style shave ice while aloha offers the pineapple bowl with real fruit! We came here 10 years ago and tried the other place first this time and in 15 minutes we were at Aloha. No need to wait with the herd...go here.

On our last visit to Hawaii years ago, we went to Matsumoto's from everyone telling us to go there, however we weren't impressed. This trip we stopped at the Aloha General Market based on reviews we found online and decided to give it a try. This is absolutely amazing, fluffy, melt in your mouth shave ice. They had a kid... The very best Shave Ice I've ever put in my mouth! Makes me want another one!! Quick, affordable, friendly service!! We will definitely go back! Very close/within walking distance to Cholo's Mexican restaurant, too!

It's our favorite place to get shave ice! They use the best ice cream. The staff is very friendly. Sometimes the store gets a little crowded, but no complaints!

You must try the shaved ice at this place. Allegedly, it is the only place on the island where the syrup for the shaved ice is made on the island from products of the island. And I believe it to be true after trying it. I got mine hawaiian style where they put a scoop of ice cream in the... More

We visited this store during the weekend of the local art festival---parking was extremely limited but we lucked out and found paved parking in this lot. This store is located next to a pretty outdoor mall. We found many souvenirs made in Hawaii to bring home here.

Marvel at the line at Matsumoto's and keep going until you get to the Aloha general store. It's apparently a slow process to make shave ice but it's worth the wait. I'm not a shave ice expert but it was really good and refreshing with ice cream on the bottom and condensed milk on top.
