Imagine flying with the birds in your own open cockpit aircraft. With an instructor along, you can take the controls and soar white sandy beaches and blue waters. Our two powered hang gliders are one of the best ways to see O'ahu's north shore, while learning a bit about flying at the same time. Each student leaves with a certificate showing instruction received that applies towards FAA Sport Pilot certificate.

This was hands down the #1 must do while in O'ahu! I was lucky enough to have been squeezed in as the last flight of the day after originally having conflicts in our schedules and boy am I glad that was the case as I was lucky enough to extend my original 30 minute introductory lesson to the full hour... We opted for hang-gliding instead of helicopter and were NOT disappointed. Denise and Tom made is so easy to feel the experience and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Even the faint of heart in our group had an amazing time. This is THE tour we will not likely to ever forget and promise to do again!

Thank you so much for this amazing time. I was hoping to go on a sunrise Saturday morning flight, but was unable and scheduled a Thursday morning sunrise flight instead for 60 minutes. After reading all of the reviews here it made me completely dismiss any fear I might have of flying high in an ultralight. Tom and Denise were... More

I my daughter and her friends have been flying with Tom and Denise 15+ times over the last several years. This is fun .. open air cockpit, unbelievable views, great performance, and great attitude from both Tom and Denise. Pick your time 30" to a couple of hours and where you want to fly, go barefoot feel the air, get... More

We visited October 2013. Have you ever wondered what birds see when they're flying over the land? The whole experience was exhilarating. So you start by taking off on a runway like an airplane, using the motor to get up into the air. Once you're in the air the motor is powered off and your glide on streams of air... More

This is just something you should do if you visit Oahu, yes you need a car to get up to North Shore, but that is so worthwhile. I think we would have been stuck in Waikiki and not seen the island if we'd not booked this. Safety is of course the most important issue and you're in good hands with... More

Denise and Tom, the pilots and owners of Paradise Air, are so FUN, gracious and so professional. We had a blast flying with them! They talked to us about conditions while flying and let us each take the controls for a bit. We did the 45 minute flight which was the perfect amount of time. I felt more at ease... More

This was a spectacular experience!! I've been riding motorcycles for decades & am a total adrenalin junkie...... And this was like a motorcycle in the sky. TOTALLY AWESOME!! I flew with Denise. She let me take *control* not long after being up. It was harder than I expected as it takes a LOT of upper body strength. But I got... More

There have been lots of comments here about how great Tom and Denise are and how terrific the flights are. I totally agree - so I'd like to touch on something else. The flight itself! I've been a resident of Oahu for 25 years and I am always amazed to go up in a plane or helicopter to see the... More

An unbelievable experience from start to finish. Tom and Denise are the most gracious hosts, with great humor, warmth and an outstanding knowledge of their craft. Their approach is engaging and at no time did i feel even the slightest bit of hesitation of flying with them. The craft themselves are extremely solid and stable and I would definitely recommend...
