We visited Molokai in January of 2008. We were lucky to meet Walter Naki (808-558-8184) at the local restaurant. He gives small tours of the Pali Coast from his boat. Calm seas were expected the next day and he already had one couple interested in his boat tour and asked if we would like to go too. We are so... More

We rode a boat, took lunch and got to stop at a few places to snorkel, swim and walk to a bamboo forest.

if you've seen the Jurassic Park movies you've seen the Pali Coast. Really spectacular so make an effort to see it in person.

We found a local who took us there on his boat. He has been going there since he was 8 years old, now takes his grandchildren. We are extremely grateful for his generous sharing of his island with us. Of the 1% of visitors who go to Moloka'i, 1% get to see the Pali. Most of them by helicopter. If... More

We could never go there enough. We save and save to take another trip to a true island paradise. The people there are so warm and friendly it makes me feel like we've lived there forever.

We did not view these cliffs from the sea, which would have been totally awesome. But we did get a good look from the lookout at the end of the road. Taking the donkey ride down to the settlement would have been another great option.

Beautiful are to explore and hike. Take the Kalaupapa hike down to the peninsula. It was a wonderful once in a lifetime experience. So happy he are preserving the history and locals are sharing their knowledge. We decided to walk rather that ride a mule or fly. It was a 2 hr hike each way for us, and didn't seem... More

Easy drive to the lookout over Hanapepe. The best part is walking thru the whispering pines to reach the lookout. You look over to the right to see more cliffs. From the same parking lot you can take a short walk up to see the phallic rock too.

Mokulele Airlines flies pretty low so you have the chance to see many parts of Molokai during the flight. Some spectacular sights!

Google Walter Naki and reserve a Moloka'i Pali coast boat ride and fishing trip - (the water was too high the day we went, but he will also show you how snorkeling is done, on a calmer day - he is the best around all-hawai'i) The cliffs are staggering, the waterfalls blow you away. Walter is the man. Do it.
