The small grove is full of information! We enjoyed the background of the macadamia nut tree, the opportunity to crack a few fresh nuts and discovered the other-worldly, delicious macadamia nut honey. Totally off the grid, it is a welcomed oasis of old-fashioned farming.

As we are from Australia and already familiar with Macadamia nuts, the tour was not so interesting for us. Also the nuts they sell are quite expensive. If you have never seen how Macadamia nuts grow, it is worth a visit, but if you already know, not so essential to visit.

We did this tour on the day of our flight out of Molokai. It was well worth the trip. You walk in through a lovely shaded lane with beautiful flowers. The owner gave us a personal, very informative tour and delicious samples. His information about Hawaiian homesteads. His little shop was sweet and he informed us that he does not... More

You park on the side of the road here. You walk through a walkway full of beautiful flowers. Then we came upon the owner and he gave us a personal tour about his farm and about macadamia nuts in general. Then he let us crack open and eat some macadamia nuts. We also got some samples there (yummy). There was... More

We came just as a small tour was ending. Mikaela, the owner's sister gave us a personal talk. She was pleasant, gave us information, answered our questions and was generous with the samples. We bought two bags of roasted macadamia nuts expecting to take one bag home, but they were long gone having been eaten out of the bag, with... More

I would recommend buying the bags of nuts with the styrofoam nut holder so you can crack nuts at home. I bought these as souvenir's and everyone went crazy for them. I wish I bought more! They taste amazing nothing like what you would buy at Costco! I also bought Macadamia Nut Honey Mustard and have been enjoying it on... More

Don't expect to purchase alot of mac nuts cheap - which is what you might think since you are getting them right off the farm. if you want nuts to take home - go to Costco. But it was a unique experience - very personal attention - no pressure to buy anything.

My family visited the nut farm as part of a day tour, and this was the higlight from my perspective. It was simple and unspectacular, but it was a genuine anecdote of the Molokai lifestyle. The owner was a real character, and he sought to broaden our understanding of the macadamia nut. Since I had already visited Mauna Loa nut... More

We easily found the place, but it helped to come from the right direction, and to have gotten directions from locals. It was very pleasant to visit this low-key, low-tech family operation that harvests mac nuts on trees planted in the 1920's. The owner's sister showed us the operation. It was fun to take a rock and hammer and crack... More
