From pretty much anywhere on Maui except maybe Pala its a short drive to the Iao Valley area and its well worth the time. This is one of those pristine, beautiful places that you definitely don't want to miss. more

There isn't a lot beyond looking at the needle and up and down the valley from different views, but it is green and very worthwhile. If you like green tropical canyons, you won't be disappointed.
