We were lucky enough to be able to see La Cage aux Folles performed by the Maui OnStage performers, who use this theater as its base. Our tickets were only $25, so we were surprised at how professional the production was. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves - nicely restored old theater. We did wonder, however, about adequate access for the handicapped.... More

I saw love, sex and the IRS perform at the theater. High ceilings, great seating, perfect location. The cost was 17 dollars. I am guessing most prices for shows vary.

We actually visited the church that rents this theater on Sunday mornings. New Hope Maui, a very inviting church, wonderful place to worship with believers! Enjoyed our visit with them.

This production was simply extraordinary (one of many such productions at this theatre over the past few years). We continue to be amazed and delighted at the diversity and excellence of the acting talent that resides on Maui. If you missed this show, you missed something very special.

Its Amazing that this tiny theater company with unpaid actors produces such great musicals. I saw Shout!! there a few months ago and loved it. This time it was Rent and they did a spectacular job. Show after show is very surprising. I bought 4 tix for the same amount I used to pay just to buy 1 on Broadway.... More

Nothing like an up close and personal experience with the original keyboard player of the Doors and one of the greatest blues guitar players! What a rare treat at the lovely Iao Theater. It's a must!!

Just saw Na Leo Lani O Maui in concert at the Spanish Mission style historic Iao Theatre. What a wonderful way to celebrate the Christmas season and this choir's passion for song and Hawaiian culture. But the best part was this restored theatre in the historic section of Wailuku. It's a small local theatre that has a theatre group (Maui... More

My Husband and I love the Iao Theater. I love the new very comfortable seats, since I am a well endowed lady, that is saying a lot!

My husband, son, daughter-in-law and 6-year-old granddaughter attended a Thursday evening performance which all greatly enjoyed. Costuming was beautiful, performances of actors was highly polished and the music was great. The storyline kept all of us entranced and that is not easy with such a spread of ages. There was some audience participation--just enough--and one was thoroughly engaged. It was... More
