For almost 20 years Valley Isle Excursions has been providing a wonderful, eco-friendly, road to Hana tour. This tour encompasses not only the Hana highway but all around Mt. Haleakala's going as close to the sea as we can.

This tour in our custom cruisers begins with hotel or condo pickup, breakfast, a tour thru the rainforest, a picnic in Hana, numerous stops and brings you back to your hotel in time for dinner.

Outstanding road trip that was enhanced by "Da Local Boy" also known as Damien who piloted the van and provided excellent information on the local sites and history of Hawaii. Well worth the price of admission ! Damien is without a doubt one of the best ambassadors for the Maui history and Hawaiian culture.

Our tour to Hana was very good. Wonderful scenery, lots of stops to see the sites, excellent picnic lunch. Our tour guide Kioni was great. He provided us with plenty of education regarding Hawaiian history and spoke of things we would not have known had we driven the road ourselves.

Neither one of us was interested in driving and missing out on the scenery, so we were happy to ride in a bus drive by someone who was familiar with the area. our driver, Pu, was wonderful. there were only 9 of us on the trip, so she was able to pay attention to each of us. If we didn't... More

I am so glad that we chose Valley Isle for our Road to Hana tour over any other company or trying to drive ourselves. The small bus was extremely comfortable with its reclining seats, large windows and 12 passenger limit. It's a long trip, so this comfort is important. Our driver was a lovely, charming woman named Pu. She was... More

We decided to book a tour rather than drive this wild and wonderful road. Our guide David took us on a great adventure. He was very knowledgeable and created a wonderful experience. Breathtaking vistas, rainbows (a double one no less), and waterfall after waterfall. We had a wonderful picnic at Waianapanapa State Park with a great meal provided. It was... More

I had done the trip 20 years ago, driving myself. I had a very knowledgable driver, Damien. I went to stops I had not done before. Just wish they had not had low rainfall and the waterfall was not so low. A reason to return. I will highly recommend anyone coming to Maui to book a tour.

We really were not sure if we wanted to take a day tour (12 hrs) but paid up and determined we set off from our hotel at (6:25am).The small bus we travelled in had captains chairs for everyone(reclining). We met our tour guide Tom Dechand at breaky and with the 12 of us in tow we headed off to Hana.... More

This tour was wonderful. Our guide Damien was the best. He was local and so informative. The tour took us everywhere and such awesome scenery. Damien made it special as he was perfect in stopping at the best photo shops. He was also a safe driver. We were so pleased with this tour. Would highly recommend it-of course with Damien.

This was a great way to see the more remote side of Maui in the comfort of a van driven by someone else so you can enjoy the breathtaking beauty without having to stress about driving this narrow winding road! Our guide, Pu, was a storehouse of knowledge and a fantastic driver and guide!! I'd highly recommend this your!! Mahalo!!

We battled back and forth with taking the drive to the road to Hana on our own or via an expensive tour. Well I can speak for us both we are definitely glad we made the decision to use Valley Isle. Jack the Legend was a PHENOMENAL tour guide from start to finish. I learned so much history about Hawaii... More
