Owner description: The Deluxe Am Molokini Snorkel trip includes a stop at Maui's #1 snorkeling destination Molokini Crater, and also a stop at Turtle Town. Molokini is a Hawaii state marine life conservation district and bird sanctuary. Located 3 miles off the South shore of Kihei, rising out of 300 feet of water, Molokini is home to many different types of marine life. Tropical fish and animals like the Moorish Idol, Humuhumunukunukuapuaa, Rainbow Wrass, octopus, harmless reef sharks and beautiful coral formations make their home within this sheltered volcanic caldera. Crystal clear water, tropical birds, endemic marine life and this secluded environment make Molokini a unique experience in and out of the water. After leaving Molokini we head over to Turtle Town, where you get to swim with the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles. After Turtle Town, passengers enjoy lunch and a fun and informative narrative by the Captain on their way to search for dolphins in La Perouse Bay. To finish off the day, the guests play trivia to test their knowledge of the Hawaiian Islands. The winner receives a free crew T-shirt. The trip is a great adventure for everyone. A continental breakfast, BBQ lunch and all snorkeling equipment and flotation devices are included.

I would like to update my previous post. As stated before, the crew of this ship is great! Your safety and comfort is top priority to them and I really appreciated that. The actual tour was the reason for my original low score. Since my original review I have been contacted by the owner directly to discuss the trip. She... More

I found the dives too restrictive with too many people trying to swim in the same spot. Every time we tried to get away from the crowd we were wrangled back in to our "area". Not used to that confinement, but is probably the same with all companies. I would not go back to Molikini again. I hadn't been in... More

I can't swim. But with the patience Alex and the young man in the back, I put on a life jacket and several more flotation devices. I was assured I had enough flotation devices that they couldn't push me under the water if they wanted to! I got in the water very slowly and actually put my face in the... More

From booking, to arriving, to being onboard and in the water, brilliant!! Highly recommended! Except the part where I missed the turtle cause the food smelt so good and got out of the water for lunch... :-)

Molokini Crater was great. We were able to see a lot of fish, but the number of people around you made it very difficult enjoy yourself. The boat was at capacity. Turtle Town was a total let down. The water was really deep and it was so dark you could barely see any turtles. Instead, you can snorkel around Black... More

Captain and Crew were great - friendly and focused on keeping passengers safe. We went out the day after some storms came through, so the water was colder than normal and choppier than normal. The crew recommended wet suits, and I'm glad I took them up on it! They took a lot of effort to help people who were feeling... More

This tour is getting an average rating for a couple of reasons - but let me start by saying the crew was awesome, the bbq lunch okay, and if we were able to make our destination, this tour would have likely gotten a better rating. I understand the crew cannot control the weather and they did everything they could to... More

Aloha, On rare occasions we have to reroute trips due to weather or sea conditions. Swell and wind direction are important safety considerations, and these elements can also affect snorkeling visibility. Our captains and crew are trained to make the best decision for the safety of all passengers and crew. These decisions are rarely, if ever, are made before the... More

The Quicksilver crew (Cpt. Kyle; crew: JB, Ian, etc) were fantastic with passengers of all ages. They were helpful, gave clear instructions and it was fun to be aboard their boat for the 5 hour trip. We saw some fish, but it wasn't as spectacular as I had hoped - luck of the draw. However, the crew was excellent. Ian,... More

A very well managed day trip. Early morning boat ride with continental breakfast to take you out to Molokini where you make your first stop. Calm waters to view lots of beautiful fish. Next stop is turtle town for turtles! When we got to the spot. We didn't see any turtles for a while but then two suddenly appeared! What... More
