Friendly place, low key and nice pace of play. Very decent layout and from the back tees plenty tough. Great alternative to coast courses.

A most enjoyable excursion as part of a Celebrity Cruise that included two stops in the Hawaiian islands, Pukalani is a gem in the mountains overlooking the beautiful island of Maui. A nice 35-40 minute drive from Lahaina including nice overlooks and sugar cane fields, the course is both inviting and challenging.
The fairways are forgiving and if you happened...

Bottom Line: I would not recommend nor will i return.
We got a tee time for 1:37. When we made the reservations we specifically asked if we had enough time to get 18 holes in. We were assured there would be no issue.
After 14th hole, i actually spoke with an employee who informed me we were right on time....

I am 19 handicapper. Enjoyed the course. Challenging not brutal. Very good condition--both greens and fairways. No GPS but yardage markers in fairway all you need. More locals here than most courses and can't beat price at $61 after 12pm.

The course was pretty challenging for my beginner skills. Views are nice from the back nine but nothing much to see on the front. I'm not sure where the country club part comes in. The pro shop and the restaurant are in portable units but the green fees were reasonable so I'm not complaining.

The course is laid out very well and you really won't end up with a bad lie on the fairways, however the greens are very rough and un-readable. However $50 including cart is a pretty good deal.

The Pukalani Country Club certainly has a different feel to it from the moment you drive up than the other courses on the island. The "clubhouse" is essentially in a trailer, as is the restaurant. The entire staff that I came across was very friendly and accommodating. The rates are perhaps the most affordable on Maui. As others have noted,...

This is an amazing course, loved it, best value for the beauty on the island. Great kaamaina rates, check their website. Even the club house was cute, and great prices, not to mention great maui cattle burgers. The proshop was having a great holiday sale, so we had to take advantage of that! Great people and service, we will be...

Only play this course if you are on a budget. It's just "ok." I'm also pretty picky and an avid golfer, so if you're not you might have lower expectations that I did. Please keep that in mind.
(1) Price. I went through stand by golf and got ten bucks knocked off the price. You probably won't find cheaper golf...
