Here at Maui Easy Riders we specialize in two different types of tours, Downhill Bike Tours along the slopes of Haleakala and Exclusive Tours of the Road to Hana (this tour is not on a bike). Our bike tour can be booked in a group or as a private tour. The Hana Tour is always private, exclusive to you and your group only. On the downhill bike tour we ride custom made bikes (Worksman Cycles) 25 miles and 99% of the whole ride is downhill. The bike tour is entirely on paved roadways and there is an escort van that covers your back the whole time you are on the bike. Our tours are completely guided, both owners Billy and Billy guide the tours, on occasion we do take days off and we have excellent guides that fill in part time for the bike tour. We are pretty much always available to answer any questions you may have either by phone or by email. We do run the longest bike tour available on Maui. Others may say the same thing, but we have a tape measure available for you to use while you are with us, just in case you wish to measure it for yourself. Honestly and seriously, we run the best bike tour on Maui and we don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're looking for a tour that does not herd you around and guides that truly love what they do, then look no further. We are easily one of the top 10 tours on Maui and one of the top 10 things to do on Maui! Most people try to saw their car in half if they don't have a bike, just so they can go down Haleakala on two wheels. That's how cool our tour is. Please call us before you try that! We offer our tour at 9am or in the afternoon at 1:30. Sorry, we are unable to pick you up from your hotel at 2:30 in the morning to see the sunrise. You will just have to "sleep in" on your vacation. The cost is $99 per person or book a private tour with up to 8 riders for $600. Those are unbelievable savings, call now while we still have our tour in stock! If you are under 12 y/o we cannot take you on our downhill bike tour. Check out our webpage for other restrictions. If you are interested in our Private Tour of the Road to Hana, "that tour is not on a bicycle", please call or email us through our website. The Private Tour of the Road to Hana is by car. The Road to Hana Tour is exclusive to only you and your particular group whether it is 1 or several people. The tour goes to many hidden and out of the way places that you would other wise most likely not see without a guide. Please feel free to call for more details. « less

I can't recommend this company enough - the trip was fun, worth the time and money, and the company were great. My husband and I went to Maui for our honeymoon, and our excursion down the volcano with Easy Riders was one of the highlights of our trip. Their normal limit is 8, which I appreciated when we passed by... More

Billy at Maui Easy Riders provided an incredible experience for our family on the Road to Hana trip. He showed us places that we would not have found if we tried to tour it ourselves. We had a jammed pack day of touring that my kids are still talking about. We swam in several waterfalls, hiked to red and black... More

A few years ago I drove the road to Hana with my teenage daughter. I was white knuckled all the way and she got nauseous. We used the book Maui Revealed in an attempt to find the "cool" places, but only succeeded in spending the day feeling harried. This time I hired Maui Easy Riders for a private tour. The... More

Met my expectations and then some, Fun, but also with a focus on safety. Billy led the way and Kyle followed in the van so that cars could only pass us when Billy gave them the OK. The ride is almost all down hill with very little pedaling (my kind of ride) for 25 miles. Billy and Kyle were pleasant... More

[Booked both the Hana road trip and the volcano bike ride] I was looking for a Hana tour so that my hubby (Eric) and I could enjoy the views instead of focusing on navigating the narrow and winding road. After reading a bunch of great reviews on TripAdvisor and emailing back and forth with Billy (who patiently answered all my... More

Kyle and Billy kept us laughing and the 25 mile ride down the volcano was exhilarating! It was 17 year old David's favorite thing we did during our week in Maui.

Took the bike ride down Haleakala and Road to Hana with Billy (aka Shaggy - sorry Billy, ha, ha, ha) and had a great time. These guys are are friendly, down to earth and provide you with a great personal experience. Bikes and van were in great shape and there were only about 8 of us total on our ride.... More

Billy brothers are an amazing combo. My wife and I were on honeymoon and when we booked we were the only two there. Despite being only two of us Billy gave us an awesome experience. We stopped by this small town that I can not recall at this time and had Poke which was amazing. These guys, not only are... More

I was very pleased with our experience with Maui Easy Riders (MER) this past June. I reached out to them this spring concerning their offerings and they were very accommodating from the very start. Billy worked with me and offered lots of options to create the perfect itinerary for my group. This was our first time to Hawaii and my... More
