Description: At Maui Easy Riders we specialize in two very different types of tours...
At Maui Easy Riders we specialize in two very different types of tours. Downhill Bike Tours on Haleakala and Private Tours of the Road to Hana. The Private Tours of the Road to Hana are exclusive only, we do not combine groups for this tour. The Downhill Bike Tour is also offered privately. On the downhill bike tour we ride custom made bikes (Worksman Cycles) 25 miles and 99% of the whole ride is downhill. The bike tour is entirely on paved roadways and there is an escort van that covers your back the whole time you are on the bike. Sometimes we reach high speeds on the bikes and other times we just cruise. It's nice to have the flexibility to meet the needs and desires of each group. It's an amazing rush riding down Haleakala on one of our bikes, it is the worlds largest dormant volcano and we ride down the steepest paved road in the world...amazing! Our tours are completely guided, both owners Billy and Billy guide the tours, on occasion we do take days off and we have excellent guides that fill in part time for the bike tour. We are pretty much always available to answer any questions you may have either by phone or by email. We do run the longest bike tour available on Maui. Others may say the same thing, but we have a tape measure available for you to use while you are with us, just in case you wish to measure it for yourself. Honestly and seriously, we run the best bike tour on Maui and we don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're looking for a tour that does not herd you around and guides that truly love what they do, then look no further. We are easily one of the top 10 tours on Maui and one of the top 10 things to do on Maui! Most people try to saw their car in half if they don't have a bike, just so they can go down Haleakala on two wheels. That's how cool our tour is. Please call us before you try that! We offer our tour at 9am or in the afternoon at 1:30. Sorry, we are unable to pick you up from your hotel at 2:30 in the morning to see the sunrise. You will just have to "sleep in" on your vacation. The cost is $99 per person or book a private tour with up to 8 riders for $700.. Those are unbelievable savings, call now while we still have our tour in stock! If you are under 12 y/o we cannot take you on our downhill bike tour. Check out our webpage for other restrictions. If you are interested in our Private Tour of the Road to Hana, "that tour is not on a bicycle", please call or email us through our website. The Private Tour of the Road to Hana is by car. The Road to Hana Tour is exclusive to only you and your particular group whether it is 1 or several people. The tour goes to many hidden and out of the way places that you would other wise most likely not see without a guide. The Hana Tour is customized to you and your group. We can go cliff jumping, swimming in waterfalls, body surfing in the ocean, snorkeling, hiking, swimming in caves, sightseeing, so much more, and all on one tour. Please feel free to call for more details. Check out the reviews, people love it!

Being Florida flat landers who are used to biking on city trails, this was such a fun adventure and definitely one of the best days of our stay on Maui! I love to really get a sense of local flavor wherever we go, and Kyle and Billy were not only hilarious, but also full of great local facts and stories!... More

Fantastic all around. I would definitely book this again on my next trip to Maui. Mad propz to Kyle & Billy! They take groups of 8 max. In a smaller pack, it was nice to feel like a rider rather than part of a herd (we saw other companies with 20+ riders!). They also don't mind riding at decent speeds.... More

Relaxing & amazingly scenic experience with Billy & Mark or "Mook". Fun event where Billy and Mook set easygoing pace from outset. Met at Baldwin Park at 9am and rode in van up path we would later coast down. Stopped at really nice store for quick bathroom break & some Haleakalā t-shirts. Temperature drop near top is no joke where... More

Had a great time with Maui Easy Riders today. Kyle and Hannibel were awesome and a lot of fun. Not only did they keep us safe, entertained, they also educated us on the sights and sounds of Maui. I would highly recommend Maui Easy Riders for anyone looking for their next Maui adventure.

We booked MER for both the driving Hana tour and the Haleakala tour. First the Hana tour - booked with Billy by phone. Super friendly, explained the entire drill upfront (they drive YOUR car, payment, cost, etc) which was all fine by us. We have done the drive to Hana by ourselves a couple of times, but wanted to try... More

Billy and Kyle are awesome on what they do! I had climbed Haleakala on my own and was coming down, not even on their tour! It can gets very cold over there and I was freezing! I spotted the van and asked for a ride down, Billy stopped the tour to picked me up! From inside the van, nice and... More

Had a great time using Easy Riders. Billy and Kyle really knew there stuff and were really funny so it made me feel very comfortable. I did the bike ride tour down Haleakala Crater, and the Hana tour with my family. Kyle was my guide for both tours. The bike ride was amazing. Great views and some stops to take... More

So easy. All you have to do is sit on a very comfy bike and use the brakes. The worst thing you could end up with is slightly sore hands. I think a young teenager could struggle with this. But for us adults we had a great time. Highly recommended!

Thanks to Billy and Billy for making this my favorite thing we did in Maui! Let me say first that I was a little nervous about doing this. I am not that adventurous, but the Billys made me feel at ease and they were relaxed and fun. Starting in Paia and then riding by van up the mountain was enjoyable.... More

We went for the bike tour with the Billys and really had a great time. They were able to adjust to accommodate all of the various abilities of the riders in the group, and were welcoming and enthusiastic as they took us on the journey. I think we would have appreciated even more history and facts about the volcano and... More
