At Maui Easy Riders we specialize in two very different types of tours....

At Maui Easy Riders we specialize in two very different types of tours. Downhill Bike Tours on Haleakala and "Private Tours" of the Road to Hana. The "Private Tours" of the Road to Hana are exclusive only, we do not combine groups for this tour. The Downhill Bike Tour is also offered privately.

On the downhill bike tour we ride custom made bikes (Worksman Cycles) 25 miles and 99% of the whole ride is downhill. The bike tour is entirely on paved roadways and there is an escort van that covers your back the whole time you are on the bike. Sometimes we reach high speeds on the bikes and other times we just cruise. It's nice to have the flexibility to meet the needs and desires of each group. It's an amazing rush riding down Haleakala on one of our bikes, it is the worlds largest dormant volcano and we ride down the steepest paved road in the world...amazing! Our tours are completely guided, both owners Billy and Billy guide the tours, on occasion we do take days off and we have excellent guides that fill in part time for the bike tour. We are pretty much always available to answer any questions you may have either by phone or by email. We do run the longest bike tour available on Maui. Others may say the same thing, but we have a tape measure available for you to use while you are with us, just in case you wish to measure it for yourself. Honestly and seriously, we run the best bike tour on Maui and we don't see that changing anytime soon. If you're looking for a tour that does not herd you around and guides that truly love what they do, then look no further. We are easily one of the top 10 tours on Maui and one of the top 10 things to do on Maui! Most people try to saw their car in half if they don't have a bike, just so they can go down Haleakala on two wheels. That's how cool our tour is. Please call us before you try that! We offer our tour at 9am or in the afternoon at 1:30. Sorry, we are unable to pick you up from your hotel at 2:30 in the morning to see the sunrise. You will just have to "sleep in" on your vacation. The cost is $99 per person or book a private tour with up to 8 riders for $700.. Those are unbelievable savings, call now while we still have our tour in stock! If you are under 12 y/o we cannot take you on our downhill bike tour. Check out our webpage for other restrictions.

If you are interested in our "Private Tour" of the Road to Hana, "that tour is not on a bicycle", please call us, or email us through our website. The Private Tour of the Road to Hana is by car. The Road to Hana Tour is "exclusive to only you and your particular group" whether it is 1 or several people. The tour goes to many hidden and out of the way places that you would other wise most likely not see without a guide. The Hana Tour is customized to you and your group. We can go cliff jumping, swimming in "waterfalls", body surfing in the ocean, snorkeling, "hiking", swimming in caves, sightseeing, so much more, and all on one tour. This tour can be extreme and adrenaline filled or it can be simple and chill, whichever you prefer. Please feel free to call for more details. Check out the reviews, people love it!

We rode down Haleakala with Billy and Kyle this morning. This trip has its challenges, that's for sure, but overall, really enjoyable. The best feature of the trip is the way the operation is run. We had just four people on our trip, but they never take more than 8, so you know they are looking out for you every... More

Truly a highlight!!! This was gift from my sister so I knew very little going into the trip and was blown away by the experience. Great views, and a fun way to get a sense of the landscape of the island. The two Billy’s were fun, easy going and incredible knowledgeable. These guys have a great operation. They have everything... She was too cold at the top, and too warm at the bottom. I thought it was great. Billy and Billy were fantastic. The bike was comfortable, and zooming around the hair pins was fun. We saw cows, horses, goats, chickens, and some dogs that were guarding the goats. I also saw a cat but I didn't pet it because... More

The most popular site on Maui is Haleakala volcano and the best way is on a bike ride down more than 20 miles with the two great guys Billy and Billy. Safety minded but an absolute blast as well They even pointed out a unicorn grazing in a nearby pasture Excellent equipment and commentary.

What a unique experience to bike down the Haleakala crater with Maui Easy Riders! Billy and Billy were laid back but we knew they were conceded with safety and making sure we had a great time. The two stops were well timed in interesting spots we probably would not have made it to on our own. We felt like we... More

Great time on Haleakala volcano. I have done both the morning sunrise trip and this time I did the afternoon trip with Maui Easy Riders. Sunrise on the top of the volcano is really a great sight to see. I also enjoyed the afternoon ride. It is a little warmer on the afternoon ride. The owners (Billy and Billy) were... More

We just had an incredibly great time biking down Haleakala Volcano. We started above the clouds at 6800 feet and cruised down through beauty, beauty, beauty. The bikes and helmets were great. Our guides with Maui Easy Riders, Billy and Billy, couldn't have been better or nicer. They could tell us about the sights we were seeing and they were... More

Don't bother with the 2.00am wakeup calls for the sunrise tours. Go with Billy & Billy for a more pleasant 9.00am or 1.30pm bike ride down Haleakala. Friendly tour guides provide you with the best experience as part of a small group. My family (four of us) booked the afternoon tour on December 21st 2015. We got stuck in traffic... More

Easy Riders was one of the best activities on our honeymoon trip. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the downhill bike with about 8 other people. The ride is extremely scenic and very easy. Make sure you take a go-pro or something that you can record this experience with. The folks are so friendly, they train and equip you with... More

A ride down Haleakala would be a great day spent no matter what, but Billy and Billy added that special Hawaiian touch of welcome and personal service that made this a great day that I hated to see come to an end. Their attention to detail and safety was super, but it was their engaging personalities and humor that made... More
