Arrived at bike shop at 3.00a.m. to commence the sunrise tour. We were taken up to the mountain in a van loaded with our bikes, helmets & gloves supplied by Maui sun riders. As we drove up I enjoyed the interesting facts about the area provided by our driver Remy. At the crater we witnessed an incredibly beautiful sunrise. Unforgettable... More

This ride is great for any competent bike rider. We took the express route which launches you at 6,5000 ft. up the mountain just outside the park boundary. Natalie was our driver and cat herder. She did a great job pointing out land marks for the few turns you need to make to get back to their shop. I'd estimate... More

This is one of the many bike down the volcano companies. This is one of the least expensive and less encumbered services. They take you up and you go down on your own. Other bike company services include breakfast and the van follows you. This can be painful. We had done that before. We toured the crater before we biked.... More

We arrived at their shop at 3:30 AM, and our guide Natalie was already loading the van and getting us ready to go. After some equipment sizing (gloves, helmet, backpack and warm weather gear), the instructions for the day were clear...take your time and have a blast! On the way up to the crater, Natalie gave us all a very... More

Arrived at their shop at 3:30am, the payment, briefing, equipment sizing and selection took ~45 minutes as everyone needed to choose and size gloves, rain wear, backpack, helmet, etc. We left in the van at 4:15am took ~1.5 hours to drive up to the crater lots of info and sleep on the way up. Arrived at the crater just before... More

My 16 year old son will tell you this was his favorite activity we did on Maui. Remy took us on an entertaining tour up to the crater and then we raced down the mountain through clouds and beautiful views. We stopped at a Lavendar farm and had a great lunch and margaritas in Makawao and ended up back in... More

Our guide/driver, Remy (like the cognac, which he was quick to point out) was an exceptional guide and driver. We were very well informed all the up to the top of Haleakela. We were equipped with everything we needed from rain gear to backpacks and bike locks. We were impressed that the helmets were full motocross style to offer excellent... More

He let us off jst before the park entrance and we were on our way down on our own, fully equipped with helmet, rain gear, and backpack provided by the... More

Had a wonderful trip to the top of the mountain with plenty of time to look around and take pictures before starting the ride down. Highly recommend Maui Sunriders.
