We had time to kill on the day we were scheduled to fly home, so we took this tour. We learned a lot about pineapples and got to taste as much as we wanted. It's also a good time to see the little town of makawau. Also they give you a box filed with two pineapples, ready to take on... More

Woe..how to start..Did this tour off of Holland American cruise ship tour excursion.. Needless to say it was not what I had expected. Upon arrival we were greeted by a guide whose comment "wow you are late"..OK on a cruise ship you need to clear customs etc.... We hopped in a van and went to the fields..No workers ...nothing going... More

Well-worth the time and price. Beautiful location, learned a lot, and great pineapples. If you're interested in this sort of thing, I highly reccomend taking he tour.

It was a very interesting and informative visit made even better by the man who showed us around. However I felt it was a little overpriced even though we were given a box of three pineapples at the end of the tour. We eat the pineapples (which our hotel cut up for us). They were really delicious.

We had a gloriously sunny day on the pineapple tour. Interesting, informative - the only pineapple tour in the US by the only pineapple tour guide in the US. And you get to eat pineapples picked off the plants. We ate and ate and ate - so totally delicious!! We even got to chose a pineapple to take with us... More

We drove an hour to get to the tour, and when we arrived they informed us that since it was raining our tour was cancelled. It was rescheduled, however, it would have been nicer to receive a call before we drove all that way. When we drove back again, the tour was very interesting, but since it was on a... More

Pineapple tour was fun and delicious! Very educational and interesting. But for an extra$20 the lunch at Hali'Maile store was not not not worth it. We were treated like 2nd hand citizens, and offered a limited menu which was not explained when we purchased the tickets. It would have been much more fun to Paia

I thought we were at the wrong place before it started. If you go to the address on the website you are at the right spot. We had the only pineapple tour guide in the United States, what a privilege. Overall the tour is very interesting. Very low key. Two Thumbs Up.
