We had such a wonderful time at the Maui Pineapple Tours. I had to drag my boyfriend along who initially had no interest in this tour, but by the end of it I think he had more fun that I did! Brett ("with 2 Ts") was very informative and friendly - we were lucky to have such an amazing tour... More

Last summer I went on a trip to Maui with my boyfriend and we were the type that did not stop. We were a little hesitant about spending a whole morning learning about pineapples but definitely worth the experience. The tour guide was funny and the tour was on a smallish bus so it really felt personal. I didn't know... More

Overall Brett gave a great tour (although at one point he stated that Maui Gold is the only remaining pineapple growers in Hawaii, and that Dole had moved its operations to Costa Rica.... Fact check: Dole still has farms on Oahu... Dole sold pineapples in the grocery store near our hotel). It was very informative and the chance to see... More

We have vacationed on Maui 10 times and finally did this tour. We highly recommend it for couples or families both. The tour group is relatively small so it is very interactive. The guide is extremely knowledgable and you will see the pineapple growing process from planting to shipping. Adding the lunch at Hali'Imaile General Store is a great treat... More

This is a good tour, but a few things everyone taking it should know. 1) you are picked up in a shuttle in a parking lot near the museum they tell you to go to on the ticket. If you are early, the shuttle may not be there so just explore the free art museum for a few min. 2)... More

We had an exceptional educational tour at Hali'imaile Pineapple and Distillery Farm. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting in telling us how pineapples are planted and harvested. We loved the pineapple that was served to us, the best we have every eaten, very juicy, and of course fresh, just picked and cut up. As farmers from Saskatchewan, Canada,... More

We had time to kill on the day we were scheduled to fly home, so we took this tour. We learned a lot about pineapples and got to taste as much as we wanted. It's also a good time to see the little town of makawau. Also they give you a box filed with two pineapples, ready to take on... More

Woe..how to start..Did this tour off of Holland American cruise ship tour excursion.. Needless to say it was not what I had expected. Upon arrival we were greeted by a guide whose comment "wow you are late"..OK on a cruise ship you need to clear customs etc.... We hopped in a van and went to the fields..No workers ...nothing going... More

Well-worth the time and price. Beautiful location, learned a lot, and great pineapples. If you're interested in this sort of thing, I highly reccomend taking he tour.

It was a very interesting and informative visit made even better by the man who showed us around. However I felt it was a little overpriced even though we were given a box of three pineapples at the end of the tour. We eat the pineapples (which our hotel cut up for us). They were really delicious.
