We were supposed to go to Molikini for a half day snorkel trip. It was incredibly windy so that got cancelled. The crew did a great job of making the best of the bad weather. They were courteous and always professional. We went to Turtle Town, obviously full of turtles. Then one other spot where I got to swim with... More

Great Trip! Great Captain. But dont expect to be back soon... our captain took us sailing for about an extra 45 minutes. plenty of wildlife to check out, 2 trips in the water for about an hour each. Waterproof sunscreen is a must if you dont want to have a red as a lobster back! More

This was my first time snorkeling in Hawaii, and we had a great day on the Lani Kai. The crew on this boat is very relaxed which fit our style. We loved the food, too, and there seemed to be plenty of it. One thing that could be improved upon is the embarkation process. It seemed disorganized and a little... More

We went on a snorkeling trip with Lani Kia around Molokini . We ended up doing snuba instead of snorkeling. We had a great time. The breakfast they provided was good with fruit, donuts , pastries and bagles. The lunch was big sandwiches and pasta salad and of course mai tia's after snorkeling. Our guide Bon was awesome and took... More

Very nice and helpful man but the captain sort of does his own thing. He does not go where the other boats go. He stopped at the edge of the Molokini crater. the sun was shining where the other ships were and there was only shadow where he anchored the ship.. He said the corals where very worn where the... In March 2010 we had a great time on the Lani Kai. The crew was very friendly and helpful. We saw many turtles and whales very close to the boat. We had a wonderful snorkeling at Molokini and Coral Gardens. The food was very good and tasty, we had breakfast and lunch. The Lani Kai was not overcrowded. The boat... More

My partner and I finally decided to take a snorkeling trip out to Molokini on our fourth visit to Maui. We arrived to the dock at the time we were told to be there, 6:45am. We waited and waited while the crew got the boat set up. We were told our departure time would be 7:00am. At 7:00am, we still... More

We were disappointed in that they just kind of dumped us off the back of the boat with little guidance as to just where to swim to. I don't think it is worth the money to take the boat out to snorkel spots when you can see just as much from shore snorkel spots. And the lunch ... forget about... More

We took the AM trip and had a wonderful time! The crew was very friendly and experienced, which made our experience even better. We had the SNUBA option and our instructor was the absolute best! We had so much fun, that we paid for the second dive as well. The food and drinks were great, as well as the service!... More
